Publisher's summary

Dante was there when the sun disappeared. He led the survival of a group of office workers as storms ravaged the planet. Then, quiet fell, and they waited for rescue.

When the military arrived, they discovered they weren't alone. After darkness fell, the office tower became infested with strange aliens resembling ancient mythological monsters.

Now, the group of survivors have taken refuge in a hidden military bunker in the mountains. Secrets are everywhere, and Dante is starting to suspect there is more than once conspiracy at play. Worse still, he has a secret he must keep, or he could be the next to die...

Another awesome book

Alex made another awesome book that answered some questions but left even more answers to be desired. The narrative was perfect and I highly recommend this series to anyone looking for an unique apocalypse experience.

I can't wait for the third book in the series. keep it up!

I'd recommend skipping this one.

Should have been another great book in an awesome series, but it's not. The plot veered in a way I did not expect or like. Kind of like if The Black met Harry Potter. Things got too weird for me. Loved book 1. Hated book 2. Will not be listening to book 3.

disappointed

dreadful on many counts. rushed story. inorganic conversation with flat characters. either the science referenced in the story wasnt researched or said research was cherry picked while the rest was tossed aside. poor world building. only palatable part of this whole ordeal is that the narrator is good, though still needs to work on pitching his voice for female or feminine characters. highly disappointed with this installment as the first book held much promise.
