After meeting his old friend Tom, Robert Bruce is commissioned to help Tom find the daughter he never knew. But, even before he can begin his quest, Robert is drawn to a murder investigation.

Closely guarded family secrets, and crooked cops, both seem to have something to do with the killing. Dedicated to unraveling the mystery, Robert swears he will find the killer - and Tom's daughter.
