Merry is making a fresh start in small-town Autumn Vale, New York, in the mansion she's inherited from her late uncle, Melvin. Felt like I was listening to a Dick & Jane reader. It may have been the narrator, her character voices sounded like children. OK plot but everything felt dumbed down.

Murder in a small town
This book was an enjoyable read. I enjoyed the characters, the twists and turns to identify the killer. My only complaint was the lack of recipes.
