Interesting twist on H H Holmes!

Story was good- I’ve studied a fair bit of Scottish history and it’s clear this author did her fair share of research for this book. The narrator made it sound like a long episode of Forensic Files (kinda dry and boring lol) but overall I’m pleased I purchased this audiobook.

Good story, but history dumping.

It was a good story, but it felt like a brochure for Scotland. There was too much history and exposition and it made the dialogue feel stiff.

Great thriller and history

Another great European Krewe story. Creepy dungeons with diabolical characters trying to thwart the police and the Krewe!

Supposed to be set in Scotland?

I keep buying these titles because they're offered in the sale section. The stories are decent but the narration is so dry and boring that every single time, I ask myself if it wouldn't be better to just get it on Kindle and not waste money on having it performed. This one was the absolute worst. Supposed to be set in Scotland... even has a German character and every single voice may as well be in middle America. Why do y'all keep hiring this man? There are women a plenty who could give you every single voice as a distinctive sound and do every single accent perfectly. Come on.

Predictable/Perfect Scenarios

What are the odds that two American FBI Agents TDY on the same case in Scotland have ties to the area, are close enough in age, unmarried, beautiful and handsome, can both see/communicate with the dead, top shots and are perfectly lovely unbroken people? Come on now, even Disney kills characters…

Love krewe of hunter books! Always exciting and love the mystery. Heather tells a good story

Solid mystery story.

Not only was the story solid, this was probably Roger Wayne best narration. He did better with female voices this time. The story about copy cats kept my attention long enough. Overall, a solid 4.

Riveting suspense as always! Love it! The characters draw you in and you will become captivated as the story takes shape in this series! I cannot wait for more!

Paranormal Mystery in Scotland, love it!

I really enjoyed this paranormal mystery spin-off. The setting and history of Scotland offer a new backdrop for this mystery without losing any of the paranormal mystery fun that we've come to expect from Heather Graham. I love the original series and the spin-off does not disappoint.

I really do like these stories…

As with the other novels, there is too much repetition. Other than to lengthen the story, not sure of the purpose. The narrator is good, but for some reason interprets all females as overly excitable and somewhat hysterical. This often is contradicted when the female agents are described, even by themselves, as “highly trained professionals.” Can the editor not assist Graham in cleaning up the stories?
