Tough love from a writer to a writer
I'll be mulling over the thought provoking questions in this for a long time. It's nothing about a system or approach and all about digging into yourself...finding your alignment. Tough love and realistic expectations. This book does a great job getting into the minds of writers. We have which imaginations and sometimes to our own detriment. It reinforced the basis of Write Better Faster, Becca’s awesome class. Exactly what I needed at exactly the right moment.

This book met me where I am
It refreshing to listen to a book for writers that doesn't give absolutes about How to Be Writer like so many do. Quite the opposite!
The author as a narrator did a great job. Her personality came through and made this an even more enjoyable listen!

The Nicest Tough Love
If you're going to read/listen to this book, be prepared to accept some hard truths. Becca does a great job on distilling such a massive topic into a book that provides the fundamentals into all the ways we've taken on premises that don't serve us. From using planners to writing a book a month, to writing needing to write every day.
Her insight is immensely helpful and it is clear she's had a lot of experience working with authors from all walks of life. I would recommend this to any author at any stage of their career.
