Acerca de esta escucha
Journey back in time to the 1930s, '40s, and '50s with United States military officer Ellis Gordon as his recently discovered in a shoebox letters to loved ones are brought to life. US Coast Guard captain Gordon's engineering work was crucial to establishing the LORAN (long-range navigation) towers that helped the Allies to achieve victory in World War II. In addition to transmitting a marvelous authentic voice from the past, these letters remind us all of the eternal importance of love, family, and connection.

Dear Folks: Long-Lost Letters from a World War II Officer
: R.A. Schwartzman
This collection of letters from the 40's and 50's reminded me of communication between family when I was a child. Letter writing was a true art form that has been lost in this age of instant communication. This is an excellent way to spend an afternoon.
The narration was well done. The characters were well portrayed.
