Dear Black Son, the first book written under the WrittenForOne book series, sheds a positive new light on Black males of all ages, providing listeners insight and understanding of those who raise them.

Poetically introduced sections include letters written by parents of Black sons with each story different but sharing a common theme of this world being a "cruel world" to raise a Black son in.

As parents grasp who they are in today's world, wanting to give their sons a different yet better life from their own, with the only way they seem to know how is by leaving them with words that will motivate them throughout time.
