Publisher's Summary

Seeing dead people and solving their murders is Darby Adler's bread and butter.

What's not on the menu? A nosy Fed poking around her crime scenes, who seems to know a hell of a lot more than he's saying - especially about the ghosts surrounding Darby and the murderer who's desperate for her attention.

Dead To Me

I enjoyed the book and narrator very much, loved the sarcasm and deadpan humor! Only complaint is that there seemed to be some glitch in the audible book as I would hear two different story lines at the same time. Looking forward to the next book!

Not for me

Snark is not a replacement for intelligently written dialogue. I couldn't get passed the first 4 chapters. The characters aren't likeable and the dialogue is ridiculous. I returned it.

Heck, yeah, with a side of more, please!

Annie Anderson has done it again! I love Darby and this new cast of characters. Cassandra Parker nailed it again, too! Perfection.
Nothing is quite as it seems in the mountains of Tennessee, and Darby, her ghostly friends, and partner are in for one heck of a ride.
Darby takes a not-so-welcome crash course into what-the-heck territory to learn who she really is, and she's not at all happy about it at first. The ending will shock you and turn you on your ear! I was not expecting that. At. All.
Get ready for some baddies who think their pooh don't stink, high society jerks who need an attitude adjustment, and a kick-butt heroine who'll grab your heart and kick you in the junk if need be.
Darby. Freaking. Rocks.
I highly recommend this amazing five-star book! I can't wait for the next!

Loved it

I absolutely fell in love with Darby while reading the book. So naturally I had to buy the ebook.
Darby is a coffee addict in a constant state of Hangry lol. The narrator captures this perfectly it was an absolute joy listening to Darby figuring herself out
