A family in the crosshairs of a power-hungry warlord. Can a father defy the odds and save his children?

When his teenage twins are discovered to be immune to plaguer bites, they are kidnapped by a pirate warlord in a move to consolidate his power. Aston is frantic to save his kids, but needs Eugene's help to do it.

Can the rivals work together to save their kids, or will their mutual enmity sentence their children to a life as lab rats in the murky waters of the shattered Afterworld?

Wow

On the run from the Mercs and trying to find the twins can the group come together and save them? Will they be lost forever? Gunn says he loves her but will he risk everything? This is a wild ride of a book and I loved it.

Excellent addition to the series!

The following review was based on reading an ARC of the eBook, recently I was able to listen to the audiobook of Dead Water and it was awesome, obviously the story is like I say in my original review, but with the addition of Molly Secours’ narration this experience was elevated to the next level – sort of like 1+1=4.
The second installment/episode in any series should at a minimum be equal to or better than the first episode, and occasionally the additional episodes elevate the series to a new level. In the case of Dead Water, this episode not only takes the series to an elevated level it takes the series into a wholly unexpected direction by introducing several unexpected twists to the story line. Where Dead Run provided an excellent introduction to the series' characters and plenty of action and intrigue, Dead Water provides additional background on Sanctuary and its fall as well as how the twins became immune. Along with providing answers to questions raised in Dead Run, new questions arise that bring several characters into a new light. As a PSA, you might not want to start this book late at night unless you are looking to spend a night without sleep, this is one of those books that will hold you captive until that last line on the last page. I received a review copy of this book from the author and chose to provide my review.

Secoind book was great

This is the second book and it really picks up where the first left off. Camille really knows how to draw you into her stories and where to place the turns to keep you from putting the book down, And the narrator Molly really does the book justice, I was so happy to see that the narrator didnt change from the first book,

Picks up right where book 1 ends and doesn't stop!

Camille Picott contines a great series with book 2, Dead Waters. The action starts where book 1 ends and it does not stop! the characters continue to be further developed as well as the world we find them all in. A great mix of action, emotion, and results. I look forward to book 3! Audio Version: Molly Secours continues to do a wonderful narrating the overall story and with each individual character, really bringing the story to life.
