a fun exciting and intrinsic read. Fully kept my attention the whole read. I will be purchasing the rest of the series and enjoying them. I do wish the rest were on audio. the reader really makes them come alive

Fantastic

Dead Serious Case #2: Mrs. Delores Abernathy by Vawn Cassidy is a wonderful paranormal mystery romance. Joel Leslie did a wonderful job with the narration. Mrs. Delor Abernathy is the second book in Crawshanks Guide to the Recently Departed series. The story is entertaining, interesting, engaging, funny, enjoyable and more. Tristan is settling into his life, seeing ghost. Danny has settled in to Scotland Yard and London pretty nicely. They are thinking about asking each other to move in but one thing is holding Tristan back and that is telling Danny he can see ghosts. Will Tristan get the courage to tell Danny he can see ghosts? What will happen after Tristan tells Danny? Will their relationship remain strong? listen to find out.

 Truth comes to light in more ways than one.

A new ghost friend to help and a new mystery to unravel. Tristan second case might just be even more crazy than the first. 

The story was so much fun and had twist and turns that I didn’t expect. Who knew old ladies could hide so many skeletons in their closets. Dusty and Tristan are still absolutely hilarious and Tristan and Danny are still adorable. Its a great sequel and the teaser at the end makes me even more excited for the third case.

Drag Queens

There was not one thing that I did not like. It had the serious parts but mostly full of laughter. I came across this author and liked what I read. So the fun I would have listening at work made a plus sign for me.

Lovely

I adore this series. The characters are great and the stories are entertaining. The narration is also very well done.

interesting

I enjoyed the storyline of this one but there were plotlines that I didn't like. The whole possession plotline I hated. The relationship time between the characters are limited in this book but the time spent with them two is spent on growing there relationship into something I can see lasting long-term. The issues between the couple is something that is believable so I was very interested in it's resolution. The thing that made me upset was that I expected a death in this book because during the middle it appears that one of the characters is seeing something and I can only imagine it's death or the grim reaper so I was expecting this person to die, it didn't happen and now I'm left wondering why would the character be seeing thing's they shouldn't especially when the only ones who can see death is the one who is supposed to die. I hope it's a plot point for a future book because if not it's a very disappointing plot I want to see happen for the development of the characters.

What a great follow up

I love that Tristan has this connection with the dead and Mz. Dusty is the sidekick. Danny and Tristan are perfect for each other. Of course. I love love love there will be more books.
As usual Joel Leslie is awesome narrator. I love his work.

Outstanding!

So much sweetness and heart for a m/m paranormal romance. The evolution of Tristan and Dusty’s friendship is beyond lovely and Mrs. Dolores Abernathy’s scene where she finds her long sought peace? Swoon! Joel Leslie is the GOAT, as usual.

Love this series!

Joel Leslie is one of my FAVORITE narrators and Vawn Cassidy writes characters that seem as if they were written just for him to bring to life. I hope Audible brings more of Vawn’s works in this series into their library because I want more of Tristan, Danny, and Dusty.
