Dani’s best work yet ...

This final installment in the Chesapeake Valor series does not disappoint. From beginning to end it’s a perfect balance of action, suspense romance, humor & faith. As always, Therese Plummer does a fabulous job bringing the book to life. My husband & I listen to many books and this series (especially this last book) is absolutely the best!!

Excellent end to a series

As a Christian, I love the option of romance, intrigue, and God. The pace of the story from book one to four was on point. The absence of graphic sex scenes and foul language are a plus. This is my first time reading this author. It will not be my last and I will recommend.

Loved!!

I loved thos book series. I couldn't get enough of it. I loved the characters and the story was great. Of course the Therese Plummer was amazing as always. I actually found these books because I was looking for books she narrated. I highly recommend this series.

An exciting end to a great series

I have loved Dani Pettrey’s entire Chesapeake Valor series and was not disappointed by the ending! The narrator has done a fantastic job with this entire series and really brought the different characters to life. Luke story was a everything I’d hoped it would be and I can’t wait to see what’s next from Pettrey.

Better Character development

I have listened to this series and the earlier books left me wanting more information on the characters. This book went into more. I liked how each character relied on the power of God. (This is a Christian based romantic suspense.).
This time the group faces their most deadly, evil, & cunning adversary. Plus a second plot is interwoven throughout the story.
I recommend this book.

Lost but not forgotten!

Amazing! Fantastic way to end the series and this book was all and more than I expected. I loved how so many of the storylines from the first three books were concluded in this one. Dani has out done herself with this book. I loved how Luke and Kate's story came together in this book and how God was present and active in their lives, even though Luke had drifted away from his first loves, The Lord and Kate. Such a beautiful yet difficult story. Therese Plummer did an amazing job with these books with the accents and such feeling. It made the book come alive for me!

Another amazing intriguing story! If you aren't following Dani Pettrey you're totally missing out. A PLUS.

This is the fourth and last book in this series. This has been a great series. You need to listen to them in order to get the best understanding and enjoyment of the series. In this book Luke and Kate are the stars. Luke comes back and helps . They don't trust him at first. Luke may be my favorite character. Luke can do things the others cant. He is like a one man army in my opinion.There all good. There is good storylines in all four books. I highly recommend this series. Therese Plummer does a great job narrating this book. Excellent suspense

A great ending to an intriguing series full of drama, spies, agents, and mystery...plus some romance. Loved the real life references to Baltimore area.
