Best audiobook version of a timeless and favorite Wilde work
I’ve tried other audio versions of De Profundis and this is by far the best. I’m glad to finally have a version I can listen to over and over. The introduction by Merlin Holland, Wilde’s grandson, is a treat.

Touching
Really enjoyed reading and seeing a more serious side to Wilde. It was beautififul. I am surprised he still wanted to see Alfred Douglas in the end. Guess he wanted to be reconciled despite how damaging their friendship was.

Beautifully Honest
De Profundis is a brutally honest memoir by one of the greatest writers of his era. It is raw and insightful. It hurt to hear such words of pain and loss, but they need to be heard.
