LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!

When a smart and funny kick-butt girl finds her whole life turned upside down by an evil sinister nightwalker (a perfect character that only this author could invent), all %@## breaks loose...and I loved it. It was funny, fast-paced, and suspenseful. All in a short, well written package. I'm beginning to wonder if there is anything this author cannot write.  And the narrator was totally perfect for the story, too. Great job!

Would you consider the audio edition of Daywalker - The Beginning to be better than the print version?

Having the story come to life was a great compliment to the print version. I really enjoyed reading along.

What other book might you compare Daywalker - The Beginning to and why?

Tessa's books really don't compare to other books in my opinion. Her exceptional story telling skills set her books apart. I can't compare this one to others in the genre.

What about Emily Beresford’s performance did you like?

She nailed our heroine! Brought her to life and really made the story engaging. Her ability to connect with the characters makes everything so vivid.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It made me nervous! LOL. The action in this book had me biting my nails!!

For anyone looking to enjoy another awesome book from the very talented Tessa Dawn, look no further. A fresh take on things that go bump in night/day.

Would you consider the audio edition of Daywalker - The Beginning to be better than the print version?

Daywalker was such a fun and pleasant surprise, watching such a talented author shift from her usual series to a completely new world and character. I wasn't sure what to expect in a new adult story, or to hear it told from first person (instead of third), or to watch the author shift from vampires and dragons to nightwalkers!!! But all I can say is WOW! What incredible talent. I loved every laugh out loud minute of this story! And the narrator did a great job bringing all of the characters to life. Well done.

Would you listen to Daywalker - The Beginning again? Why?

Absolutely! I enjoyed this lighter, yet thoroughly well-crafted tale by Tessa Dawn. Emily Beresford's narration was refreshing while engaging, and I really felt the characters in each of her spoken words.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Daywalker - The Beginning?

The dialogue was brilliant:"I was only twenty-one, had just started my own business, and was about to get killed on my first day. This was so unfair."While classed as urban fantasy, I found myself surprisingly entertained by the smart dialogue and witty humor throughout Dawn's short story. The plot line was fresh and kept me listening. Daywalker certainly deserves a sequel.

What about Emily Beresford’s performance did you like?

Beresford emoted so well, I found myself "hearing" the emotions as she narrated, and then experiencing them with each, passing word. It almost felt as if I were listening to Daywalker in 3D. Being a huge fan of reading, the audio experience is a uniquely newish experience for me, once which I appreciate a great deal.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Dawn's richly-woven descriptions transport a reader/listener into the world she has created. I found myself drawn to the little details, which helped me visualize the characters to a "T." Dawn has the unique ability to literally "paint" with words. A rare skill.

Any additional comments?

This first-person narration is geared towards a new adult market, but readers/listeners of all ages will be able to relate to the tale. A great story transcends genre, transcends demographics and leaves you inspired, no matter which shelf it's assigned to!

Yes I would totally listen to it again! I WILL totally listen to it again! It was amazing! The narrator is so animated! I loved it!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Daywalker - The Beginning?

The first time that Lacy sees Joseph and the moments that follow.

Which character – as performed by Emily Beresford – was your favorite?

Lacy Logan hands down! Her character is awesome!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, it was incredible!

Clash of Light vs Dark!!

All grown up and on her own, Lacey decides to start her very own business....a paranormal detective! As seen from her eyes, this story is funny, scary, thoughtful....a full range of emotions each of us go through as we find our place in this world. Emily Beresford's portrayal of Lacey and her emotional journey is amazing! This is a short story worth listening to!!

The audio books are always better to me because of my eye problem so reading a print copy is challenging for me. So I am so greatful for the audio books!

What did you like best about this story?

I loved this store from open to close. It had me in the end of my seat and very nervous

When Lacey came to terms with what she is and what she wanted to do......she knew the truth and she knew what she wanted to do!!!

Make me laugh and smile that this little girl found her way into a world of night walkers where she was a Daywalker and she wanted IN!
