interesting concept

I really liked the systematic progression of learning and living with the sorcery power ups. Good audio book with excellent narration. So five stars, then again it was authored by Kerns.

It seemed plausible

MC was a little too goody goody/ altruistic. And behaves impulsively with little to no regard to consequences

Great setup, good foreshadowing, but it went down hill from there. The payoffs where all lack luster and the MC was just given everything without a struggle. The characters are all cookiecutter lacking any original characteristics. I question the authors morals by the end, its like he is writing about something he knows about, but doesn't truly understand.

Started out great then it went down hill from there.
