A secret neuroscience project. A war the world wasn’t ready for. The fate of humanity on the line. A decade ago, the U.S. government shut down the Cranio-Genesis Project after it spiraled out of control. Now, the world is paying the price. U.S. President Paul Schmidt is thrust into a conflict with Iran, only to face an unprecedented military threat: mysterious Iranian weapons and superhuman soldiers capable of crushing the U.S. military in a matter of days. But there’s more to the story—an untold connection to the Cranio-Genesis Project.

As global chaos erupts, Schmidt must confront the project's original creators, Drs. Heidi and Peter Davidson, who hold the key to understanding the mysterious force behind Iran's rise. But the answers they offer come at a price—the twelve test subjects of the failed project are still alive, hidden, but unleashing them has significant implications.

With alliances shifting and the world on the brink of collapse, the clock is ticking. Can the Davidsons’ patients help President Schmidt save the future? Or will humanity fall to a force they never saw coming? Fast-paced, thrilling, and filled with suspense, this first installment in a gripping sci-fi trilogy will leave you hungry for more.

Reseñas de la Crítica

"The Cranio-Genesis Project is a tense and action-packed novel that engrosses readers in the story right from the get-go. If you enjoy edge-of-your-seat suspense, unexpected plot twists, and an account with a lot of heart, don’t miss out on The Cranio-Genesis Project. The writing is top-notch, and the book is a page-turner until the end. The author has done a great job giving each of the children their unique personalities. Finally, while the book contains a healthy dose of science fiction, the author has an exciting background that allows him to imbue the story with many realistic details."—Many Books Editorial Review

This well-written speculative novel imagines the realistic military and geopolitical ramifications if Iran gets a hold of an ultra-powerful telekinetic weapon. The tone is pretty grim (but still hopeful) with lots of casualties and Iran taking over other countries. The plot is interesting, sometimes exciting, and occasionally slightly humorous. I like that the president of the United States is a good guy and really cares about Americans and all people. He is level-headed, logical, empathetic, a good listener, and honorable. Later in the book some really fun and interesting characters join the action.

The narrator did a very good job. He had different voices for all the characters, was excellent at action scenes, and he has superb enunciation and pronunciation.

I realized that while I enjoy military sci-fi on other planets, near-future military sci-fi on Earth is not my thing. It’s too heavy on realistic politics for me. Still, I became strongly invested in the book and want to read the next book after this cliffhanger.

I requested and received a free audiobook copy from the publisher, and I voluntarily wrote this honest review. #TheFlockVIPReviewTeam #NorthernLakeAudio

A solid near-future military sci-fi, heavy on the global politics
