What happens when the philosophies of dental insurance companies collide with the quality of patient care dentistry can deliver? A continuation of our battle on Utah's Capitol Hill. What has become clear is this: there are a handful of dental insurance companies that are honestly trying to do the right thing for their clients who happen to be our patients, and there are many dental insurance companies who are deceptive, non-transparent, and attempt to blame dentists for their reasons of downcoding, bundling, and forcing us to do free dentistry with terms such as "non-billable" or "non-payable".
