About David:
David is a former consulting actuary to Fortune 100 companies. He built the world’s largest coaching business, becoming #1 on Google for life coaching and coaching thousands of hours in 12 countries around the globe.
As well as helping others, David is no stranger to overcoming challenges himself, having survived a full collapse of his paraglider and a fractured spine, witnessing the death of his sister at age seven, anxiety and depression, and a national Gong Show!
He coaches high performing business owners to double revenue, and their time off by focusing on less and being 30% more courageous in their business or career.
Show Notes:
David is committed to freedom but perhaps values emotional freedom the most.
Emotional freedom looks like being fully expressed and asking for what you really want.
That requires courage.
When we can ask for what we want, the true win is in the self-expression:
Self-expression is the courage to ask for what you want….regardless of the outcome.
We don’t want to look back at the end of life and wish we'd had the courage to do something bigger.
In business, If you want to make more money, you have to have more courage. When you reach out and call 10 people, that takes courage.
The Discomfort Zone:
Where is your discomfort zone? We need to dream bigger and find those edges.
When you feel a little nervous or excited, you’re bumping up against your discomfort zone.
Productivity
People overcommit all the time - both men and women.
We take on too much as business owners. On the macro level, it's best to work on the top 3 goals rather than 10 or 20 and accomplish them.
On the micro level, look at the next 7 days and pare it down as well to a few achievable goals. .
When you focus on less, you’ll be more successful at what you do.
Build a habit of success.
David focuses on 3 buckets with clients:
- Productivity
- Revenue
- Leverage - clarify your genius
