Story
Machine Learning has changed the computing world through its digital interactions because it is a form of artificial intelligence. Machine learning begins with data or observations, like instructions or direct experience, and then looks for patterns in the data that allow the machine to make better decisions based on the examples that have been provided. The main aim of machine learning is to allow the machine to learn automatically without any human assistance or intervention and learn to adjust accordingly.

Today we think statistics are the enemy, numbers used to mislead and confuse us. That’s a mistake, Tim Harford says in The Data Detective. We shouldn’t be suspicious of statistics - we need to understand what they mean and how they can improve our lives: they are, at heart, human behavior seen through the prism of numbers and are often “the only way of grasping much of what is going on around us”.

Mile-wide, inch deep
This is a poorly written overview of some data science buzzwords, less detailed than your average Wikipedia article on each of the topics covered. I listened till the end because I hadn’t heard some of the terms before, so maybe that’s the utility - “exposure” to some concepts.

Simply a great practical audiobook
I have come to the conclusion that AI is just something all business people have to accept. Ai is around us all and every day. This audiobook has given me a good understanding of how data science works. it also clearly gives you reasons why it is critical to give programmers the right data and instructions to give you the information you need to make the right decisions. I also found it fairly easy to listen (considering i am not a data scientist). Simply a great practical audiobook to help you leverage your data for maximum business benefits.

A reasonable overview into business data analysis and ML but very repetitive.
This is a relatively interesting audiobook with some interesting material, but both books are incredibly repetitive. I am yet to read the supplies PDF which sounds like it may be more useful. If you have a loose understanding of business intelligence but are interested in understanding more about it, data science and machine learning then this is probably a worthwhile investment. If you have a better understanding than that, I would suggest this may seem like very shallow coverage relative to what you are looking for.

Excellent audible
I don't know if it's that I was in big need of a audiobook like this one, or is simply that the audiobook is excellent. Finally a audiobook about data science in which the use of the word 'science' is justified: questions, exploration, models, heavy testing and tuning. This is not a audiobook about technology -it barely mentions Hadoop!. Instead, it introduces the thinking and the fundamental ways to solve problems using data (and intelligence.

Mandatory audiobook
It's an excellent, even mandatory audiobook for your Data Science shelf. I am glad I bought it. It has nowhere near enough material on some areas, though, and is just missing some material that you need for DS. That's actually OK because of course no single audiobook is enough to cover everything you need to know in a field. Look how many audiobooks you may have bought just to get an undergrad degree, and I bet it was not just one audiobook.

Learned professional skill
This audiobook helps answer what the data science is about. It teaches you what kind of task and analysis you would do if you worked as a data scientist. The author emphasizes that it is rather "conceptual" than "mathematical", so it is greatly helpful to those without much math and/or statistics background. If you are into learning professional skill or knowledge, it may not be the audiobook but it is still a good audiobook to start if you need a general idea.
