A top level view of machine learning

This is a great audiobook that gives a top level view of machine learning and data science. It is particularly useful for non-technical listeners who need to have a need to know the lingo for being able to follow conversations around the topic. It is also a great introduction for technical people who have never worked in data science before.

Extremely useful

Extremely useful and thorough, from the perspective of a business person whose business involves overseeing and delivering analytic products. Gives you the details, insights, underlying principles, and a glimpse but not the full set of math that would be necessary to actually be a practitioner.

Very well explained crash course

This audiobook enables me to do that. It felt like a very well explained crash course on the ideas behind the different methods and the math to them. Coming from a business perspective, i had to learn the math part pretty quickly.

DS4B breaks down data science concepts.

DS4B breaks down data science concepts into terms business leaders can understand and apply. It carefully separates the concepts from the math theory in a way that engages both the casual and technical listeners. It was a much better high level discussion than I have seen elsewhere, and they mentioned possible pitfalls of the expected value framework.
