Bridges the gap between science and business

This is the best book for understanding data science. It is written for a college-educated non-mathematician who wants to understand the potential of big data for providing business insights. It includes just enough technical detail so that a SAS or R programmer gets a good enough background to delve into the recommended reference and technical articles that the book suggests. This is such an interesting book. Never gets boring like the normal technical book stuff...

Advanced 2 in 1

This book essentially systematizes data analysis methodologies, and is simply the best resource I've ever seen to accomplish that purpose. I'm working to see if we can get this book for all the data analysts on our staff, so they can have it as a resource. Extremely useful to get your feet wet and learn about the principles of data science. Clearly written and a book I'll likely reference again when I need a refresher.

Amazing introductory book

Very well organized, easy to follow and full of real life examples. I truly recommend this ebook to everyone who's learning how to deal with a big data and big data analytics projects.
It's a good, but hard read. I'd like to think of myself as above average when it comes to stats and math, but I had to reread several chapters to ensure I had the concept down. More of a book around machine learning. Still a good read, just take your time with it.

Great book of Data Analytic

Which character – as performed by Judy Rounda – was your favorite?

An excellent performance of narration.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I did several times

Any additional comments?

This book is great. Very easy to understand the core concept of data analytic. This book shows the big picture of data power and its need for the current competitive market with a lot of real scenario examples. The best thing that I found in this book is solved problems. The problem can be solved by using analysis tools but we do not get what is going under the hood. It explains very clearly where, when and how to use different data analysis techniques and tools. I would say that this book is a gateway to the world of Data.

I like the ideas presented in this book.

I realized that audio is the better version of this book. Hearing somebody talking is far better than reading it myself cause I easily get bored when I read. I learned the basics of analytics and how it helps the business expand and grow. I am just starting a small business of clothing lines and this is a preparation for me in the future in case my business has the ability and resources to expand.

Worth listening.

Aside from the basics of data analytics, I also learned about its terminologies, its benefits, and types of analysis. Analyzing data helps us identify the market trend and will help us decide either to expand the business, to make changes or not with less risks on our part. This is the reason why I give this book a good feedback aside from the fact that narration was good, the book content itself was obviously well researched or practiced by the author himself.

Useful book for those who wants to level up their business.

That was great audio.

In today's business world, the companies that are getting ahead are using lots of analytics to make the right decisions. This is exactly true as the book suggests. The narration was impressive-not very fast but not too slow, too highlighting the important points to remember.
Analytics often involves studying past historical data to research potential trends, to analyze the effects of certain decisions or events, or to evaluate the performance of a given tool or scenario. The goal of analytics is to improve the business by gaining knowledge which can be used to make improvements or changes.

It is reliable tool for success.

I am convinced with the narrator's way of explaining what data analytics is all about, its benefits to the business, how we can create them, and make use of the past data to guide the people in making a sound decisions or changes that we wish to apply. The discussion was in detailed form, not slow paced nor fast. It's right for me. It gives me more ideas on how I could run my small business using what numbers tell.

Data analysis guide book

Being in a manufacturing company is a tough one since competition is high and some raw materials are imported that's why I can't afford a single No Good label. This book gives me a better idea how to focus more on better production by simply checking those data and finalizing what should be apply, and what should be remove. Data are important. We are in advance technology time where we can take advantage of technologies in our hand.
