Not an Ultimate Bible for Understanding & Using

I found this book to not be very well written or delivered. I was looking for a book that would cast light on the background of how techniques are useful and take the reader through to a higher level of understanding. To me there was a disconnect between the narrator and the author's intent and I found that to be distracting. I see a lot of high ratings for this book, so I may be missing something, but this just didn't hit the mark. I was, and still am despite this book, excited about the use of Data Analytics. Hopefully I'll find the right resource on Audible to keep going back to like I do with Naked Statistics.

A Must Read for anyone working with data.

A very well written, highly engaging book. As someone who has worked in data analysis and created reports for years, it was eye-opening to realize how many things I could be doing better, and the importance of telling a story instead of just dumping data on people.

Great book of Data Analytic

The best thing that I found in this book is solved problems. The problem can be solved by using analysis tools but we do not get what is going under the hood. It explains very clearly where, when and how to use different data analysis techniques and tools. I would say that this book is a gateway to the world of Data.

I have listen a number of books

I have listen a number of books on data mining, and information processing, but this was the first very good overview of the process and it was written in clear, easy to understand language. It talks more about the process than the technology, but ties the two together to show how a business solution would be put together. A must listen .

Excellent coverage of the subject

There were a couple of typos throughout the book. I wonder if one could use data science to find, revise and revisit those parts of the book? Overall, very well done and well written. The stats chapter was succinct.

Great introduction to data analytics.

Great introduction to data analytics. Chapters were well organized, and the text was easy enough for a beginner but challenging enough to encourage the reader to explore the material. I appreciate the re-world example problems and the opportunities to practice solutions to them.
