Hesses ungekürztes Meisterstück
1946 hat Hermann Hesse für sein Werk "Das Glasperlenspiel" den Nobelpreis für Literatur erhalten. Fast 13 Jahre lang hatte der Autor an seinem Opus magnum gearbeitet und es immer wieder umgeschrieben. Die Komplexität des Romans spiegelt sich vortrefflich in dem Titelzusatz der Erstausgabe von 1943 wieder: Versuch einer Lebensbeschreibung des Magister Ludi Josef Knecht samt Knechts hinterlassenen Schriften. Nun gibt es Hesses großes Lebenswerk erstmals in der der ungekürzten Hörbuch-Fassung.

Zum zweiten Mal, nach 40 Jahren, gelesen. Eine hoffnungsvolle, lebensfrohe, tiefsinnige Geschichte, verschiedene Geschichten, in verschiedenen Räumen und Zeiten. Sie schildern das Werden eines Meisters menschlicher Lebenskunst.
Ein etwas anders dramatisches, ruhiges Buch. Sehr empfehlenswert für Jung und Alt, Suchende.

Beyond Expectation
A great story demands a superb presentation. This presentation is that good. If you have enjoyed Hesse you will be stunned by this story and presentation. Joseph Knecht is the continuation of Narziss. The story is the continuation and combination of Siddhartha and Narziss and Goldmund.
