Very impressed!

I have been meaning to listen to this book for some time now and decided to work it in. I wish I had not waited so long. This was a nice change of pace from the normal when it comes to zombie tales. The main character is Darlene Bobich (as you may have guessed) who is no Alice or Selene, but takes everything coming her way head on. Now, I need to make this clear, this is NOT a young adult book, its way to graphic and violent. Darlene faces the undead and the living, and in her case, the living have less humanity. She is a young and attractive and since the law no longer keeps people in check, she has it pretty rough. But, she perseveres, and takes a measure of revenge along the way. This is a pretty quick listen (2hrs 32min) but there is a second one waiting for me next, Dying Days. So, if you like zombie fiction, then I highly recommended Armand Rosamilia.

An excelent book !

Would you consider the audio edition of Darlene Bobich: Zombie Killer to be better than the print version?

No, why would I, when it is the same story?By the same Author.

Which character – as performed by Carolyn Nicely – was your favorite?

Darlene Bobrick

Any additional comments?

Another winner from Armand Rosamilia.

What would it be like to be a seventeen year old girl ,when the world went down the drain? Would you have the basic skills and quick wit to survive?Come along on the journey Darlene Bobich ,she is a strong girl who was forced to survive on her own ,and the people she crossed paths with.

This is another winning story from Armand Rosamilia.Well written with strong and interesting female lead.He never lets you down and leaves you wanting to read more of his books. Thanks Armand for another good read.

Very disjointed, but OK listening

Would have enjoyed it more if it didn't just jump from one point in time to the next, with no explanation of what happened, or why..

Nonstop action!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

If you like zombies or heart-pounding action, grab this up!!

What did you like best about this story?

I enjoyed the unrelenting action that was kept reeled in enough to never loose sight of Darlene's ultimate objective.

Which character – as performed by Carolyn Nicely – was your favorite?

Darlene is a bad ass--clever and very human at the same time. The whole package.

Great book, mediocre narrator

A quick listen. I loved the story. The Narrator leaves little to be desired. She had many mispronounced words and made it seem like she didn't take too seriously the job of storytelling. Sad.

DARLENE IS AWESOME!

What made the experience of listening to Darlene Bobich: Zombie Killer the most enjoyable?

It was a great bunch of stories!!!

What other book might you compare Darlene Bobich: Zombie Killer to and why?

Well she is a strong female character....and there are many zombie books out there, but Armand's zombies are perverts!

What about Carolyn Nicely’s performance did you like?

She was really good....I am sad she is not narrating the next book!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I did laugh...and say ewww several times! lol

Any additional comments?

I am on to the next book Dying Days 1.... This world is really frightening...zombies trying to eat you is one thing...but make out with you to the extreme..that's just gross!!! I liked the Journey Darlene has been through, and she still stays strong! Cant wait to hear more!!! I enjoyed this book very much!!

Darlene Bobich is a badass

I have listened to this series before elsewhere and it is most excellent, never boring and often humourous.
