What an epic story! Wolf shifters, complicated political divide and a strong FMC! Great pacing and just enough Easter eggs to keep you guessing for the next twist or turn. I personally love a seer plot element and enjoyed following along the dynamics of the pack. Excellently narrated and well written.

Darkwitch book 2 in the Dyrwolf Series by Kat Kinney brings the reader into her world and into her story. The descriptiveness makes you feel as if you are actually there, it is amazing! I really loved this story! Tiffany Vanlandingham does a fantastic job in voicing the characters and their emotions. I can't wait to read/listen to more!

I enjoyed this series. I really liked the idea of the story and the plot. It may be different reading the audiobook versus reading the book, but I struggled to follow along with it in parts. There was a lot going on, and I couldn't keep up, so I feel like I missed a lot of the story.
I like that it kept me hooked, and it seems similar to her Blood Moon Texas Shifters series, which I liked. It almost seems like a prequel. It seems relatively young or new adult type book, at least compared to other books that I have read, regarding spice level. These books you can't really read out of order, it won't make sense. can't wait to read more from Kat Kinney. I like her books so far and look forward to reading more.

Gleeful Goblin Review: This is the conclusion to the Dyrewolf duology from Kat Kinney and wow what a ride. This is technically a young adult book but the series handles adult issues hand in hand with coming out of childhood into being a full adult. This is a harsh world that makes children grow up quickly but over these two books we've certainly seen the last steps out of childhood for both Lea and Henrik.

These two young people are under a heavy weight of trying to be the bridge between two cultures who have been at odds for so long that it's become an ingrained cultural norm for both groups. Seeing how this friction is navigated through the overall story and how it influences the personal relationship between Lea and Henrik is totally captivating. Get lost in this world and you won't regret it. 5/5 Stars

Lea has been having dreams about Henrik dying. Every night and she is afraid for him. They live in a world where the wolves and humans live together. But it is not in peace. There are curfews and guards. Kat Kinney is a wonderful writer. She takes us into her world and tells a great story.
