better than book 1

well, the plot is still slow to develop. & I still think 2 of these books should be combined into 1 with less dialogue "filler" (inner & outer dialogue). the steam in this book is more than book 1, but it is still significantly less than most plot centered reverse harem books. by the end of this book, we are 17+ hrs into this series, & this reverse harem is just barely fully structured & only 2 of the harem have reached home base with the fmc. so, if u are looking for a good rh series, I wouldn't recommend this series unless all of the series' books are being offered for free, like it is now, when I am currently listening to this series.

Not a template series so far. The sex is tasteful in romantic love not lust.

Honestly the first one was good enough for me to want to get to this one. But this one was just awful. The guys were horrible, she of course chooses to be with a couple of them instead just embracing them all, the bad guy could have been dealt with a lot sooner and most of the plot was bad or boring. Not reading the rest.

Witches and Demons

The first book wasn’t too bad and I managed to get to book 2 but this story is more about lust and sex than an actual story. Animals resurrected and becoming zombies…not my scene.

Meh

The whole book sounds like it was written by a teenager and the male narrator voice sounds like he is 60, which doesn’t fit with any of the male characters. The main characters are kind of annoying and they all make terrible/ stupid/ predictable decisions. There are a lot of unnecessary inner monologues which make the book drag on. This is supposed to be a RH story and we are 2 books in and barely anything sexual happens. 🙄 I would rate this at like a 1.5 spice level. Even though it’s free, it’s not interesting or spicy enough to make me want to finish the series!
