Pretty Good

Aaron did such a great job breathing life into Damien, as did Stephanie with Maria. The storyline was intriguing and kept my interest peaked. I could visualize all of the action going on with their narration. Good job 👏🏾

A thrilling ride that will make you swoon

If you like your romance novels with a little darkness then this is the one for you! Its not normally my thing but if there is one thing that is definitely true about me it is that I am narrator motivated. Aaron Shedlock, you say doing his growly deep alpha voice? Well sign me up for that and be quick about it! :)

Fellow narrator devotees will not be disappointed, Aaron Shedlock brings his usual A-Game to portray the former bodyguard turned rising criminal businessman Damien who has a certain dark side when it comes to the bedroom. That's right ladies, grab those earbuds and download this one. You are welcome.

Stephanie Rose does an equally fantastic job in her role of billionaire princess Maria, who has been forced to marry Damien as part of a deal her father has set up. Needless to say she isn't initially thrilled about it and Stephanie Rose is fabulous at portraying Maria's external tantrum meltdowns but at the same time the vulnerability lurking under the surface. In hands of a lesser actor I would easily have found the character annoying and cloying but not here and the chemistry between these two is quite the delight to listen to.

I am a bit of sucker for the whole arranged or forced marriage at first but then they start to develop feelings so it becomes real vibe and if you throw in a bit of high stakes danger in the mix - audio gold! There are also plenty of those steamy scenes we all enjoy and despite the name of the book probably on the lighter end of the spectrum. Hint of dark rather than full on Fifty Shades ;) No less delicious to listen to for that, as I said earlier you will want this for your collection, trust me on that.

The story is a little bit clunky in some parts but that doesn't detract significantly from the enjoyment factor and is definitely a high tension element throughout which just makes you want to keep on listening, I pretty much did this in one sitting and ignored all the studying I was supposed to be doing instead. If that doesn't sell it to you I don't know what will.
