Intriguing but Relatable
I really enjoyed this second book of the series. I totally related to Andy's journey through her anger. Very twisty mystery story but not so much it felt overly dramatic. I cried. I laughed. I can't wait for the third one.

Great narration, super slow book
The narration is Fantastic! She deserves an Audie Award. The storyline is very good but extremely slow in the first half, with too many unnecessary details… I kept fast forwarding 30 min within the first 6 hrs and didn’t miss much from the plot. The last 3 hrs were on pace and THE BEST! First book is A+. I look forward purchase/listening to the last book

This book will keep you on the edge of your seat!
Great writing combined with excellent reading make this book hard to put down! Carrie Cotten takes the listener back and forth between the real world and the world of dreams in this supernatural thriller. Cotten's faith shows as her two main characters engage in a battle between good and evil. Take a deep breath before you start listening, because you won't get a chance to catch your breath again you've finished the story!

An intriguing story with a great narrator!
Although I didn't finish this audiobook, I have read the book and listened to this narrator. Overall, the book is fast-paced and intense, with more twists and turns than the first book. And the narrator does a great job bringing it to life, especially the chilling voice of the villainess. Even if I didn't finish it, I can tell from what I did listen to that it is of great quality.

Good narration
I like how descriptive the narration is and how well the words are enunciated, plus lots of voice reflection of normal life vs surprise vs “hearing” another person voice.

Book 2 is SO GOOD!
The Dark of Night is so good! Just like the first book, the characters are amazing and I fell in love with the story all over again. I was excited to hear of another book coming out and couldn't wait to finish it! I cannot wait for the next in this series! Please tell me there is another coming soon! 👏🙏
