Publisher's summary

Galaxy’s Edge, Season 2 continues as a divided galaxy is navigated by heroes forced to chart their own dangerous courses....

The darkest secrets stay hidden.

Wraith, seeking to acquire intel on the mysterious Kill Team Ice, finds himself teamed up with an unlikely Nether Ops ally. Zora and Garret, in pursuit of a lost friend, will have their loyalty to Captain Keel tested. And the strain on Nilo and Black Leaf continues to grow, with unexpected intensity.

For all of them, the path forward is a crooked one, weaving through House of Reason loyalists, Bronze Guild bounty hunters, brutal slavers, Legion operators, and the mysteries now emerging from the empty and foreboding space beyond galaxy’s edge. And each step along that path only seems to reveal a new, darker truth about what’s coming for them.

But one thing is increasingly certain. War is brewing.

Includes a special author's note.

I feel cheated

Can’t complain much about the story. It’s not nearly as good as season 2, book 1, but it’s still worth the listen. This book is more filler than actual cohesive story/plot.
I can’t stand the 1+ hour “round-table” discussion the authors have added to the end of these two books. The story itself is only 9.5hrs long, which is too short.
RC’s narration is outstanding, as usual.

Consistent greatness!

What more could you want in a science fiction series?

We've got epic overarching plots with fantastic heroes (and not perfect heroes who steal established protagonists' names, by the way) fighting insidious villains and stupid politicians.

All jokes aside, Anspach & Cole have been putting out more quality novels in shorter lengths of time than pretty much any author I love. They make Larry Corriea look like George RR Procrastinator.

This series has been and remains my favorite series. Ever. And that's saying something. I read them all on ebook ahead of time because I'm in the Galaxy's Edge Insiders, then get them as audio books and enjoy them all over again.

I get it, that maybe I'm biased. But at least listen to a book or two if you're thinking I'm not telling the truth! The books are amazing in their complexity and realism while still being some of the finest escapism you can enjoy. Start this series (or continue it), and I'm sure you'll have an amazing journey alongside the rest of us diehard fans!

(One of us! One of us!)

KTF!

worst book in this otherwise great series.

First let me say R.C. Bray's performance is great as alway and he truly is a treasure to listen too.

Now with that being said, this book doesn't a disrespect to the rest in this great, long series. Without giving away any spoilers, the story goes nowhere and does too much looking in the past to be fresh and exciting. While I did enjoy Mr. Fancy Pants, the rest of the characters didn't feel like anything exciting or captivating in this book.

The one thing that really grids my gears in this book is the fact after a short book, they added in an hour of the authors babbling on about the book. I paid my hard earned money to listen to the story, not to listen to 2 guys talk about making the book. That is what blogs or podcasts are for. If Podium or Audible wants this to continue they should specifically Stat Stat story is _hours long and the "bonus" b.s. talk is _hour's long.

I understand everyone needs to make a buck these days, I just believe it's a disservice to PAYING listener to have it added to the end of a book to make it seem longer than it really is. If this is what is going to continue with the series and other book published by Podium Audio, they just lost a avid listener.

Masters and the Artillery Bot steal the show.

My guts still hurts from laughing so hard at the parts with Masters. And Death, the Destroyer of Worlds..hes probably one of my favorite characters in the book. From his shear disappointment that bring him down when he cant kill to the elation he gets when Keel says kill. Such range for a little bot. I love him.

Can't wait for the next one. KTF ME!!!

Dark Victory, more like Legacies Redux...

This was the worst book in the Galaxies Edge series, to follow Legacies with this book is outright blasphemous. Most of this book was cut, copy, paste from Legacies. They give you a few 'new' items but it was nothing more than a rehash from Season 2 Book 1. Very little new material, disappointing title in an otherwise outstanding series.

Authors on a cash grab with this book, nothing original or new... Will be my last Galaxy Edge and I am sorrowful as I really enjoyed this series till this title.

R.C. Bray as always does an outstanding job.

Oba this was awesome!

I thought the best GE I was gonna see was in The Savage Wars. I’m happy to report that Season 2 has exceeded my expectations so far. Balls to the walls action and plenty of KTF Dark Victory is superb. How these gentlemen continue to create such a masterpiece is beyond me. K.T.F.

Continues to let down

RC Bray is ALWAYS amazing. This book though, I absolutely loved season 1. My least favorite book, but a book I still enjoyed a ton, was when captain kiel was introduced. The only thing I didn’t really like was the obvious Han Solo knockoff. It was good, but I liked the victory company stories more. Apparently I’m season 2 the legion is pretty much non existent in the first 2 book. You get a brief masters and chhun only makes a brief appearance. They add a knock off R2-D2 and C3PO though. I loved victory company, dark ops, etc. That doesn’t exist anymore. Just kiel.

all over the place yuuch

this series went off the rails. no story a dozen characters like a dozen short stories. it jumps to such an annoying extent you lose interest. no attempt to tie it together, you keep saying to yourself WHO CARES.. just the writers attempt at making the characters seem important .
