RECOMMEND

In a world that is evolving as fast as ours, the need to master ourselves and boost our psychological advantage over other people is becoming increasingly important, both for growth or self-development, as well as our safety or security and that of other people around us, this book was written in terms that are very easy to understand and is straight to the point. This is one awesome book. It really was a good introduction to those who want to learn about the darker aspects of psychology, cover all these topics, and more. It is the consummate book for anyone who wishes to learn new ways to engage in controlling their own minds and the minds of others and in using techniques to live a successful life.
Highly recommend this audiobook.

Learn to Say “No”

Emotional abuse is something you would not wish on your worst enemy. It is worse than physical abuse, and no one should ever go through it. Despite that, it is part of our society and a challenge to most of us. Hence, how do we make things work? helped me understand many things, and to get back to game, I recommend it

Understand Narcissism, I love it

Narcissists are people who believe they are better than other people and proudly brags about it. They look down on people and bring them down. Emotional blackmail is one of their traits. Other people’s decisions come second to theirs, and they would even go to the extent of harming those who contradict their stand. Insightful & Powerful

Recording is terrible

The recording has many clicks and repetitive lines. The editing was poorly done and very annoying to listen to.

hard to listen to

I couldn't get past the second chapter because the narrator's performance was halting and broken the whole time. I sped it up to 2x and was able to endure it a little better,
but a pause
after every
second, third,
or fourth word
was more than
a little bit disconcerting.

I can't speak for the content, as I was unable to endure more than 2 chapters.

Body Language

the abuser uses body language to dismiss the victim. If a victim tries to say that something is important to them, the abuser insists it is nothing and dismisses him or her with a smirk, sigh, eye-rolling, or a headshake. These tactics humiliate you and undermine your self-esteem.True..
