Onto the finale

I have thoroughly enjoyed the series. Even though in book 3 I found some of the waited for confrontations to be somewhat anticlimactic. For the two previous books there was such a build up for when she finally came head to head with the vampire wench, And the dude who wanted to escape the veil. But when these moments came there was no overwhelming satisfaction that had you shouting out in joy. But overall from start to finish this series is totally worth the read. The only thing I would change is I would have enjoyed the epilogue to have gone further. Maybe even contain a second epilogue a few years into the future. But overall well done Grace White! And to all the Raiders I hope you enjoy this series as much as I did!

A cute HEA

This is the final installment in the trilogy. While it was cute and sad at different times, I wish we were given more at the end. With that said I did enjoy the book, the characters were well rounded and given the diversity of races ( witches, shifters, vampires, fae and humans ) the world built around them and the "rules" for each races were defined well. I highly recommend listening to the trilogy in the order the author meant them to be read and just let yourself fall into the world created for our pleasure.

A great ending

A great ending to an excellent story. The evil has been dealt with and now everyone gets their HEA perfect.

Binge worthy

I binged this series in 2 days as I was eager to see how it ended. Celeste really came into her powers here. Which made her cocky and annoyed me. Perfect Finale to this Series

Celeste’s time has come to fulfill her destiny in this third and final novel in the Devil’s Gate series. The plot of this novel is well done, if a bit predictable. I loved it!!

I love this series. The characters are amazing. The FMC is a strong woman with strong men at her side. I love that the FMC knows what she wants and goes after it. I can't wait for the next one. The narrator Sarah Puckett does a beautiful job narrating the story.

I honestly need more of this series. It has a great storyline and characters. There is so much emotion in this installment. This will just fly by you because so much happens and I absolutely loved all of it. Sarah Puckett does a great job with the narration.

Follow your heart

The final chapter, I was swept away by the depth of emotion, the love Charlotte and her mates shared, and the heartbreak and loss she faced. Charlotte faces the final step to unify the races, but dreams and a growing sense of despair make her realise the sacrifice may be to great. An amazing end to the series with some exciting plot twists, Sarah Puckett only added to my enjoyment with her wonderful narration.

My Thoughts on Dark Poison

So much that I've been waiting for was finally provided in this story. It was definitely the conclusion I've been waiting for. I got more Laken, Gage and finally more Lucas. Much, much more Lucas. And all perfectly performed by Sarah Puckett. This series pulled at my heartstrings and had me so wrapped up in the words. This is an author I will definitely want more of in future. And this is a must read series.

Great Wrap Up

This was a really great wrap up to the series. I love all things paranormal and these books have it all, plus the steamy reverse harem aspect. It had action and was fast paced. I was a bit sad to have it all end, but it was well done. And what's to say about the narration other than it is Ms. Puckett?! She is one of the best!

Beautiful Ending!

Celeste has found not one but three loves. She has also become part wolf and part vampire. The only thing left is to become part fae. Every day that passes brings more danger to her and her loved ones. She must close the veil and stop all the danger once and for all. The only problem is that it may end her time with her three loves forever.

I really enjoyed this book. I enjoyed the entire trilogy. It's beautiful. It's realistic. Well, as realistic as a paranormal book can be, but yeah. I really adored it. I was antsy on how it would be ended. I was worried for nothing. The ending was as beautiful as the entire trilogy was. I read the first two more than once. If that says anything.

I've gushed over the characters in the first two reviews. I will continue gushing over them here. Lucas is still my favorite and will always be. He's just so sweet and sassy. That's my favorite type of man. Celeste is amazing too. It's nice to see a main character who knows what she wants and what she's after. She's not afraid to acknowledge that she's afraid, but carries on with what she needs to do anyway. It's inspiring.

The narrator for this book is the same for the narrator in the first two books. Sarah Puckett. I can gush over this narrator for days and not get over it. She's just so talented. She gives even more life to the book than the authors already do. She is so passionate. She's an inspiration. I hope to be as good as her when I start narrating!

This was a beautiful ending to a beautiful series. I just wish it didn't have to end. I could have read about the characters in this world for years on end and not get tired of it. Especially where Lucas is involved. I wouldn't mind spin-off series for this book. Maybe even a prequel or a prequel trilogy involving Sierra. I would definitely read them all if they existed.

Great ending

I really felt like everything was answered and concluded. I was shocked in multiple areas of the story but it helped make the book and characters. The epilogue ended up being my favorite part of all the books. I was a little let down on no steamy scenes between the three since this is a reverse harem but it still included one on one scenes. Other than that I was very happy with this audiobook. The narrator really did a fantastic job and I look forward to hearing her narrator more!
