As the people around him prepare to evacuate, Laz is pulled into a game of cat and mouse with the Norse god, Loki. To survive, he'll have to work with old enemies and make a few new friends. To win, he'll have to beat the trickster god at his own game.

Even if he somehow survives Loki's traps, he's got the hurricane to deal with and the monster behind it, one not even gods know how to stop. Laz has always been good at thinking outside the box, but how do you tame a hurricane?

NOT FEELING IT AT FIRST

Well, when I first started the series, it felt like a bootleg Dresden files. I stand corrected. I am addicted to this series and cannot wait for the next audio book to drop! it is crazy like Dresden files. It had all the same kind of excitement and the main character is always in deep $#!+. Yeah, it starts slow but hang in there, it is actually pretty darn good and can stand on its own merit.

Good overall

There were parts that felt rushed and a little too convenient but overall a good urban fantasy story.

Another great book....

Another great book filled with Gods, angels, mythology and fae realms. Friends turned enemies turned friends again. And of course love & saving the fate of the world!

good story, but ... politics

Not everyone wants to see politics in novels when we are reading for pleasure and trying to get away from it for awhile. would have been a great story without that. I won't be buying any more of this authors books...not interested in that.
