beside the reader mispronouncing some words, this is a very good read. I would recommend it to others to read. Christine is a very good writer

This was done right!

Kaleo Griffith is a great narrator for this series. I enjoyed listening to this book, and can say I will listen to any story narrated by Kaleo - it was a job well done.

The best narrator so far

I’ve read the entire dark series many years ago. I am now re-reading them via audible and Kaleo Griffith is the best narrrator so far. I wish they kept him for the more recent books. He really brought all the characters to life.

Loved the humor

I loved the humor in this book and the different dialog between character than the other books because these characters grew up on their own without realizing there were others of their kind. Great story, no cliff hangers, happy ending.

I have read this series and dark fire was the first book I read by Christen Feehan. And that's how my love of this series began
Now I am listening to this series because it's just that good. I recommend this series to anyone who will listen. I also enjoy this narrative. He ads good tones and the women don't sound like weak twits thru his reading. Love the emotions he gives each character. Worth a credit or cash. Happy listening!!!!

I've enjoyed Christine Feehan's books for many years. This was like reading it for the first time! Fighting with a constant migraine, I find this an exciting way to still enjoy my favorite author!

excellent audio!

I have read most of the Carpathian series and loved many of them. This storyline, with the Troubedors, is one I especially liked. Although the human women begin to get tiresome in a few of them (especially in this one!) the story is in keeping with the rest of the series.
The narrator is fabulous! His voice is sexy, compelling and he is able to switch gender voices easily. A real gift in the role of narrator that can only be appreciated when you're listened to many. many audios and experienced the poorly done ones!
