Great read and better listen

I absolutely love this series by Carly. I also love the way Sophie makes me question my sexuality by sounding like a big sexy Dare man... Love love love!!!!

Cop with Abandonment Issues and A Woman Lacking Self esteem

Declan Dare is police office in NYC who has been going to a BDSM club to feel in control and not become attached to women he sleeps with.
Amanda has begun to go to the same BDSM club, not sleeping with men, but performing in scenes in private..desiring to be told what to do and to please someone..acceptance has always been lacking in her life.
The BDSM in this story is light, so if that isn’t your preference I still believe you enjoy this book..it’s much more about accepting love, yourself, and giving up rigid control and opening your heart..truly accepting supporting and loving when you’ve been afraid to do so.
A short book, but it gets to the point and was an enjoyable story....the Dare families are an interesting group with alpha males and strong women. Worth your time.
I love Sophie Eastlake..she has a great man’s voice and such a sweet and enjoyable woman’s voice...She’s one of my favorite narrators.

It was okay.

This book was "okay", simply put: a mindless way to pass my workday. Nothing exceptional about the story, the characters and their development is very one dimensional. It wasn't bad or good, just okay.

Interesting and intriguing book. The author kept the theme of the plot throughout which kept my interest, even Mitchell was challenged to submit.
