First one I listened from this author . This story had a love story. Made me laugh . There were funny parts and some unexpected intrigue. The cover has a dog called Milo that plays an important part between the 2 characters.

Hero is Ben and Heroine is Tessa.
What happens when you meet someone on a cruise and have a fling with them. It’s great when it lasts and you don’t expect to see them again. They both get a schook when they run into each other at work. Who caves and and makes the first move again

Lill was great as a narrator she nailed it. Has a smooth voice

A cute, light read

I enjoyed this book. At first, I was a bit wary I wouldn't grow to like the main characters at all. He seemed pompous and obnoxious, She just seemed sort of off kilter and unable to cope with life in general. But they grew on me.

The narrator did a good job. I was able to just listen to the story and let me imagination take over. Mad props for including a tiny dog, which made the book even better!

Overcoming Fears

I like an All or Nothing book where the characters must determine what is truly important to them. Joyce M Holmes wrote the story beautifully of Tessa and Ben (plus lovable pet Milo). Lili Dubuque was an excellent choice for this performance. She added to the book with her easy tempo and smooth voice. I requested this review copy audiobook and willing wrote this review. The story is long, and does have some unexpected twists, some endearing characters and some you want to strangle. The phrase Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer came to mind. I thought the author wrote very realistic characters and had the right amount of tension and competition in the book. Well done.

Sweet second chance romance

Ben and Tessa had a one night stand and months later, Ben is hired to be Tessa’s partner. At first, there was an antagonistic attitude but they found their groove at work but can they do the same for love? Ben’s past hinders the development of their relationship and his push and pull gets a little repetitive but the story generally moved quickly.

I really liked the two characters and their interactions. I love how Milo the dog was portrayed too (so cute!). The author introduced some really mean coworkers, which rounded out the story to give it some more emotional pull.

Lili Dubuque was great at playing multiple characters and I thought she had wonderful pacing. She did a great job infusing emotion appropriately.

You'll Like It!

I really enjoyed this book. This story is full of real life issues that deal with decisions and the outcomes as well. The narration was good and kept you entertained. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
