Just a Sweet Listen

Still reeling from her father's loss and her boyfriend's betrayal, Greer decides to visit her family's beach house to recenter herself. She finally finds happiness watching the family next door, two sweet little girls and their doting father. Darren has his hands full running his business and raising his two girls, but the woman next door intrigues him. But Greer doesn't want to risk giving her heart away, or hurting the little family who has come to mean so much to her.

This was my first listen by this author, and it was really sweet! CA Harms created two lovable and believable leads, set the story in a beautiful location, and capped it all off with two of the sweetest little girls in print. The description of Greer's loss had me tearing up repeatedly in the first chapter, it was so well written. And her relationship with Darren was so natural and lacking in angst. The story switches between Greer and Darren's point of view, which I always prefer. I'd definitely pick up another book by this author.

The narration was well done with different voices for each character, she also performed the little girls' voices in an easy way. It pulled me right into the story and kept me listening. I requested a copy of the audiobook, and I'm voluntarily leaving a review.

Darren and Greer make for a complicated but amazing couple!
But LOVE can overcome ALL things!

Sweet ♥️ love story about two people harboring aching hearts that find their souls were a perfect match. There is no real angst or mystery to solve, just 2 people working out how to start over and to learning to trust again.

Lillian Yves has entertained me before and as before, she’s proven to be an excellent narrator. 👏🏻

Great Story!

C.A. Harms is a new to me author, and I am greatly impressed. I was immediately pulled into the story of Greer and Darren. I loved how something wonderful evolved out of heartache and heartbreak. This book features 2 hurt people who find something special when they were not looking. The story is beautifully written and has humor, hope, heartbreak, happiness, love, and understanding. I thought the narrator Lillian Yves did a great performance with her expressions. She conveyed realistic attitudes and feelings. I requested this review copy audiobook and have voluntarily written this review.

Sweet Story!

I love CA Harms's writing and I really loved this sweet romance. It's so beautifully written. The main characters, Greer and Darren are great together, and the little ones, Vivian and Violet, are so cute and sweet! I love the Epilogue and the Bonus! The narration was really well done. Lilian Yves has a sweet and beautiful voice, easy to listen. This was a fun and sweet listen, sometimes heartbreaking, but really heartwarming. LOVE!! 5 Stars is not enough

I absolutely loved this single dad story and seeing how the characters worked through all their struggles and grew together. I completely felt everything the characters felt and I wanted to be friends with them immediately. This book took hold of my heart strings and yanked and stretched them at every turn and I never wanted this to end. This book brought me a mixture of both happy and sad tears and a smirk on my face for days.

Lillian Yves is a new narrator for me and I will definitely be listening to more books.

What a sweet book

This story is so sweet and romantic. It truly does Dare You to Dream. I love the dueling narratives and the viewpoints from both sides. This is a truly feel good romance that is just breathtaking!

Lillian Yves does a great job and puts so much emotion into her narration that it makes the characters seem like you know them!

Let this audio dream to your ears

This is my second audio from the author and this is my first on this series. This was an amazing listen. It has a single dad, children and a sweet love story . This story has heartbreak and lots of layers The narrator is great . Her voice is strong , clear and smooth.

Hero is Darren. Heroine is Greer

Darren is a single dad that just doesn’t know how to say no to his 2 little girls, especially when they lost their mother, his wife. Darren is trying to do both roles , mother and father .
Greer doesn’t trust men , she finds her boyfriend in bed with another women. She also lost her dad. Greer has been floating around with nothing steady in her life . She needs to get away to gather herself. .
When they meet it seems 2 half’s become a whole but Darren is wondering how bringing another lady will affect his little girls

Sweet, Sweet, Sweet story

Some may say that not much happens in this listen. They would be wrong. There isn't a lot of angst or hand-wringing or miscommunication that some romantic novels rely on. (Thank goodness!!) This story was real, with real-life scenarios and reactions.

Greer (love that name!) and Darren were both getting over losses. Each found ways to cope. Then they found each other. This was a very sweet story.

I liked the narration but there were a few times that I wasn't sure if Darren was speaking or if Greer was speaking. There wasn't enough distinction between the narrator's male and female voices. It didn't take me out of the story, but it happened often enough that it bared noting.

I'm glad this is the beginning of a new series. I would like to know more about these two and their crazy families.
