Publisher's Summary

After the sudden death of his wife two years ago, Darren Griffin has finally found peace. He has a good life, good job, two daughters he’d do anything for, and a beautiful home on the beach.

Greer Monroe is grieving the loss of her father. It’s the final rung on the broken ladder that’s become her life - crappy job, no friends, and a cheating ex-boyfriend. At the insistence of her aunt, Greer decides to spend some time at her family’s beach house.

When the glee-filled sound of children’s laughter dances through the breeze, Greer finds herself smiling again. The neighbor girls are carefree, depicting a life Greer has only dreamed about. Husband, children, happiness - a family. And their father, Darren, he’s everything a woman could ever want.

But it is, of course, only a dream.

She can’t stay at Carolina Beach, no matter how much she adores Darren and his daughters. She has responsibilities at home, a mother who needs her. Where there’s love, there’s heartbreak, and she can’t go through that again. And she sure as hell won’t do that to those little girls.

But Darren isn’t letting her go that easily. It’s been so long since he’s felt this way for anyone. Greer is his missing piece, a piece he never thought he’d find.

Saying goodbye is hard, but sometimes starting over is even harder.

Only when they dare to dream again, will they ever dare to love.

Great Story!

C.A. Harms is a new to me author, and I am greatly impressed. I was immediately pulled into the story of Greer and Darren. I loved how something wonderful evolved out of heartache and heartbreak. This book features 2 hurt people who find something special when they were not looking. The story is beautifully written and has humor, hope, heartbreak, happiness, love, and understanding. I thought the narrator Lillian Yves did a great performance with her expressions. She conveyed realistic attitudes and feelings. I requested this review copy audiobook and have voluntarily written this review.

Second Chance at Love

This was a nice feel good story about Darren, whose wife died a few years ago and Greer, who has a host of problems of her own. Both Darren and Greer were hurt in the past in different ways. Lillian Yves did a very good job with the narration. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

I feel like I've read this story before?

Not sure why but this story seems very familiar? But I'll cut to the chase, it's fairly sweet, not high on the heat index and is very family forward with a HFN. I liked it but seriously, it reminds me of so many other vacation house/hot daddy next door/second chance romance/crazy big blended family.

A Sweet Second Chance Love Story

I was given a free review copy of the audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

There is always room in our busy life to listen to a sweet love story. This audiobook is such a love story. A young widowed father still grieving for his lost and much missed wife, has a second chance at love. The approach is somewhat tentative at first as both he and the vacationing next door girl that is running away from her own grief and disappointment, need time to sort out their emotions and feelings. The two little girls are as sweet as they can be and certainly instrumental in bringing the two lovers together. It is one of those happily ever after stories that will warm your heart. The narration is very well done and the writing smooth and pleasant.

Let this audio dream to your ears

This is my second audio from the author and this is my first on this series. This was an amazing listen. It has a single dad, children and a sweet love story . This story has heartbreak and lots of layers The narrator is great . Her voice is strong , clear and smooth.

Hero is Darren. Heroine is Greer

Darren is a single dad that just doesn’t know how to say no to his 2 little girls, especially when they lost their mother, his wife. Darren is trying to do both roles , mother and father .
Greer doesn’t trust men , she finds her boyfriend in bed with another women. She also lost her dad. Greer has been floating around with nothing steady in her life . She needs to get away to gather herself. .
When they meet it seems 2 half’s become a whole but Darren is wondering how bringing another lady will affect his little girls

Sweet Story!

I love CA Harms's writing and I really loved this sweet romance. It's so beautifully written. The main characters, Greer and Darren are great together, and the little ones, Vivian and Violet, are so cute and sweet! I love the Epilogue and the Bonus! The narration was really well done. Lilian Yves has a sweet and beautiful voice, easy to listen. This was a fun and sweet listen, sometimes heartbreaking, but really heartwarming. LOVE!! 5 Stars is not enough

I absolutely loved this single dad story and seeing how the characters worked through all their struggles and grew together. I completely felt everything the characters felt and I wanted to be friends with them immediately. This book took hold of my heart strings and yanked and stretched them at every turn and I never wanted this to end. This book brought me a mixture of both happy and sad tears and a smirk on my face for days.

Lillian Yves is a new narrator for me and I will definitely be listening to more books.

Sweet and swoonable!

Dare to Dream is one of the swooniest and sweetest books ever! I mean, Darren with his two little girls is completely swoonable. Hearing him with those two little girls is the sweetest thing. Greer did not stand a chance where Darren was concerned! Darren has had such a hard past few years. Love was not on his agenda but you know what they say about the best laid plans and all! Greer’s story also pulled at your heart but it really wasn’t as devastating as Darren’s but this isn’t a race. No matter how you look at it, this story will tug at your heart and keep you listening on and on hoping for more… for everything.

I haven’t heard Lillian Yves in narration before. I really enjoyed her narration. I usually prefer to have two narrators when the book is a dual POV. However, I thoroughly enjoyed the way she read the story to her listeners. I really feel like she did an excellent job giving us two characters of an opposite sex.

Beautifully Written & Heartfelt

Dare to Dream is one of those stories that will pull at your heartstrings and grabs hold of you and doesn't want to let go. The emotional start resonated with me on a personal level; to say I was captivated from the beginning is an understatement. The characters, Greer and Darren, are authentic, and their interactions were genuinely heartfelt, as well as passionate. Fate brought them together at the point in their lives when they both needed healing.

With her telling, Lillian Yves breathed life into the character, I thoroughly enjoyed her performance. Dare to Dream is a beautifully written story, one I highly recommend.
