Care Free Attitude

Audible Escape Read out of order as Ethan seemed the most interesting of the 3 brothers. Heroine has the best up lifting attitude towards life. Introduced to the Dare family side of another series. I will listen to that series only if Ms Dawe narrates. In this story, Ok dialogue but seems a bit on immature side. Lots of swearing that didn’t always seem appropriate, just flash or filler. This author may not be for me but since ms Dawe narrates, l am giving it a try. I do use 1.2 speed to match the drama. Give it a try.

Dare meets Knight that was good

The youngest Dare has a chance to move past the confines of her family or so she thought. She needed to find what she wanted to do with her life. She just never expected to find Ethan Knight my be the spark that pushes her forward. This for me was the meeting of two families. I got the Dares that I have loved for years and the Knight's that I just meet this year. I was satisfied. Narration worked just fine.

cute older man, younger woman romance

Ethan Knight...oldest of the Knight siblings, widower, control freak. Sienna Dare...youngest of the Dare siblings, recent college grad trying to determine what's next in her life plan, a total planner. What happens when Ethan agrees to look out for his client's baby sister on a visit to NYC? The control freak loses control. Can anything come of this? The chemistry between Ethan and Sienna is hot but he can't seem to get past his dead wife's betrayal and can lose a great thing. When they find out that Sienna is pregnant, the tables are turned...now he wants more and Sienna isn't so sure. Cute, quick story.

Loved the story, struggled with the narrator

I had read this book before listening to it and really enjoyed the story. However, the narrator left something to be desired. I did not enjoy her depiction of everyone other than Sienna because everyone was gruff and had a deep voice, even most of the other female characters. The deep gruff voices made it harder to hear them in the car where I listened to the book and just started to sound annoying as the story continued.

Meh...

It was a pleasant story, very predictable and just long enough not to make it repetitive and boring. Narrator was very good.

Good story

Ethan is still reeling from the betrayal of his wife and has been focusing on work. Sienna is trying to figure out next steps in her life. She has an offer for grad school at Columbia, and her brother calls in Ethan, his business associate to escort her to a meet and great and take care of her for the weekend. They are attracted to each other and one thing leads to another..... I enjoyed Ethan’s story of moving on and Sienna figuring out what she wants out of life. I also enjoyed not only getting a bit more of the Knight siblings but catching up with the Dare’s.

Loved!

This was another win for Carly Philips. Once again an enjoyable listen with Angela Dawe narrating. She once again did great bringing these characters to life. These two were a match even with their differences but together they were perfect. I loved how alpha and protective Ethan became. Sienna was a spitfire and I loved how she basically brought Ethan back to life. I really loved the transformation of Ethan and they way Sienna helped him. It was an even bigger treat to have the crossover with the Dare’s and Knight’s together giving us a great book. I look forward to more from Carly!

Dare you to listen

I Loved this book. Carly Phillips did not disappoint. What’s better than having a character from the best series to come into a new series. I have always wanted to know what happened to Sienna from Dare to Love books and this did not disappoint. You got to hear what is going on with the rest of the family and Ethan is great. These two are great as a couple and proves that age doesn’t matter and sometimes you don’t plan to fal in love and it just happens at the most oppertiune time. I love this series and cant wait for the nest release from Carly Phillips

Sweet, sexy romance between 2 families

The youngest Dare and the oldest Knight get together. The story progresses the Dare and Knight narratives, both families with poor examples of male patriarchs, over compensating Alpha sons and strong females. The story moves along at a good pace and the narration is ok though would be better with a dual narration. Looking forward to the next male Dare story and hope we see more of the family.
