Dare Darker

I enjoyed this book. It was very intriguing. I new starting it that it was on the taboo side. Pepper North is a new author to me. I would say that for some people it might have a slight trigger warning. This book is very unique. It touches on a different side of BDSM. Most books are all about the "kink". Dare Darker focuses more on the psychology and the relationship between a Dom and Sub world. I would like to see if there will be more to this collection. Chloe and Gregory did a great job narrating.

Dare Darker

I really enjoyed this. It was weird to hear such a different kind of story -than is normally on audible- from Pepper North. I don’t want to give things away but I had a hard time putting it down because it was so interesting. I liked seeing some obvious Pepper North elements in this kind of storyline. I am looking forward to seeing what happens in the future books.

This was a dark sexy introduction to a world of submission and domination. Where the dark is better than the light.

this book was pretty good , kinda a dark erotica. Girl gets taking by a guy she's been talking to online, and falls in love , and also married him, talk about some crazy kinky shit. the narrator did a good job too.

Meh

I tried to finish this but couldn’t so many times but finally I had to force myself. I’m not sure if what the authors voice that dragged and was too slow for my liking or maybe the story built up took too long to get to the point. I will try again in the future to listen again and maybe change my rating.

Great narration!

Dare Darker takes you into a world of total dominance and submission. While this is not the way for me, I love control too much, I do enjoy listening and reading about other lifestyles. This story was performed well. I enjoyed both voices. The story is well written and I will be checking out more stories by Pepper North.

Loved

This was my first listen from this author and i loved it! I loved the character’s twisted relationship and their POVs.

This definitely won’t be my last book from this author and I definitely recommend this!

Not My Thing

I'll start this by saying that my review of this book is my personal opinion. I will not tell others not to read it or to read it. I will let them draw their own conclusions. I will say that there are some trigger warnings of abuse and abduction. This just really wasn't my thing. It's well written and a very easy read. I won't lie. I read it all in one sitting. It's just not a book that I will be reading again. I won't be looking for anything in this series. Since I like the writing style, I may consider other books by this author.

Dare Darker is (I think) the first book I've read by Pepper North. It was well-written and intense. However, total submission isn't really my k ink so I found myself getting restless, a bit bored, and sometimes frustrated when Mia was punished for misbehaving, even if Rafael didn't really explain what said rules were. What made this book for me was the narration. Gregory Salinas' voice is spectacular, deep, sexy and soothing. Chloe Ryan did a fabulous job with Mia. The slow pacing, especially during Mia's training really intensified the tension and build up. The ending came a bit quick but it didn't feel rushed. Overall Dare Darker was a great story that didn't really keep my interest.

Dare Darker is so good

Mia was a young lady who worked extremely hard but had no real family or friends,she started talking to Rafael over a fantasy website.When the time was right the screen came up with a question she needed to answer and when she clicked on the one she chose,she fell into darkness.Rafael had found his one,the woman he wanted for the rest of his life,but she had to pass some test to become his completely.Can Mia pass these tests or will she end up back in her apartment alone and lonely. I absolutely enjoyed this story. It was a dark romance filled with so much light! The narrators did such an outstanding job telling this story. Chloe and Gregory did such an amazing job on Mia and Rafael. I highly recommend everyone to check out this story.
