Publisher's summary

Do you know the most amazing passage in the entire Bible?

In this study of Daniel's 70 Weeks, you will discover this amazing prophecy in the Old Testament predicted the very day that Jesus presented himself as the Meschiach Nagid, the Messiah, the King, to Jerusalem.

The seventy-week prophecy of Daniel 9 includes the most incredible validation of Jesus Christ as the Messiah, which he held them accountable to have known.

In a confidential briefing to his disciples, Jesus also highlighted this passage as the key to understanding all other prophecies concerning his return. It is essential to understanding the book of Revelation and other related passages.

In-depth exploration of tribulation

Notwithstanding the narrator's martial tone (yet very clear and articulated), the “program", as Audible calls each performance, should prompt each of us back to the Bible. Dr Chuck Missler did a fine job in exploring the theme, but it takes more than listening to the words to understand.

Incredible Study; Required Reading

I struggled for years to reconcile a Friday crucifixion with Jesus being dead and buried three days AND three nights. You cannot get all three days AND all three nights by following the false doctrine of "Good Friday". The time required is not there. Trust God. When you don't understand, ask God for understanding, and trust him. The truth is there, and God cannot lie. This study has done more than teach me about how God tells time, it has taught me to desire the truth!

I am not disappointed in a Bible Study lead by Mr. Missler. The man has a keen mind, and an resonate love of truth, as defined by Scripture. Understanding the various methods of calendar and time-keeping is a challenge. In this, I struggle, because I am trying to understand in relation to what I know, which is the Georgian Calendar. We have 365 1/4th days in our orbit, but God deals with time differently. Rightly so, he created time, for the anthropic principle, that the earth was designed for human habitation.

In order to understand the topic, it is essential to take your time with your Bible. You must use an accurate translation (the KJV if you speak English) and you must plod through references. Time, times, and half a time are precise, definable concepts, but we hardly think this way. Understanding that the Sabbath is not just Saturday, and that a week can refer to a multiple of seven, even if it is a week of years (7 years, like a decade is to us 10 years) is a great beginning. It helps us tell time God's way. The Isrealites were in Isreal 490 years- but 70 times they ignored the sabbatical year, so that God sent them into captivity in Babylon. II Chronicles 36:21.

Daniel was reading his Bible (Jeremiah 25:11) and, he understood ( read: took seriously what God said) that the seventy years prophesied was nearly accomplished. Daniel 9:2. If God says it, he means it, and intends us to understand. It is therefore essential that we use the plain sense of the text, and never read into it what is not there.

I do a wish there had been more time spent upon ancient calendars, but personal, individual study is essential to build faith, to establish in your heart God's Word. Just telling someone something isn't helping them learn. Wheting the appitite teaches a hungry child to spend effort to feed themselves. By doing so, one learns to think, and act. Man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Matthew 4:4.

A most needed message.

Christian’s need to hear, study, and share this message. As the bride of Christ we need to make ourselves spotless and without blemish through the Blood of The Lamb. I hope we will be made worthy to be at the marriage supper of The Lamb. Maranatha!
