it was a heartfelt, intelligent story !

I thoroughly enjoyed the book and the narration. what an amazing life! Billy is way more intellectual that I would have originally guessed (sorry) and his insights were powerful. wonderful story!

A Charmed Life Indeed!

For a true fan since the early 80's, the only thing better than him writing down his story is to have him narrate it! So much of it I already knew yet so much I did not! So raw and honest! One correction Billy...CYBERPUNK WAS AWESOME!

Just a great listen! I loved Billy’s music growing up in the 80’s but did not know much about the man himself behind the scenes. This story did not disappoint!

I’ve recently read Nikki Six’s heroin diaries, I am Ozzy and Queen unseen. I appreciated the inside scoop on all these larger than life figures. The success, struggles, fame, unbelievable talent and drive of these people that made the world a better place! I’ve always been a Billy Idol fan and very much wanted to see him in person or in concert. This is the absolute next best thing. I would have to say the best book and insight on one of the people I admire the most. A Must read, I couldn’t put it down. Bruce M Lambeth

Billy is a great narrator

Billy Idol is a rock n' roll legend and this audio book has the benefit of Billy's fantastic speaking voice. This might not be for everyone since he is descriptive about his debauchery and hedonistic 70s-90s lifestyle Sex, Drugs etc. but he's surprisingly articulate. A well read and poetic verbosity, stream of consciousness and bragadocio full of stories of a time that most certainly would be frowned on in today's world. He is definitely a person with fault, but also a man of conviction, and a love of friendship and artistic collaboration. Enjoyed this one immensely.
