I love all Amanda M Lee and Lily Harper Hart's series. Can't wait to see what happens next.

Another Winner!

My goodness. This is a series that I liked from the beginning but now I love it! Hanna and her very beloved dog are among my favorite characters now. She is a softer heroine than Zoe and Aisling, but her compassion is a strength actually. Love the continuing witches story.

overall, a good listen

there were a few things i found... annoying, i guess. this book was somehow more, yet less, at the same time. there's more in that we learn more of the background to Casper Creek, Abigail, and Hannah, which was interesting for certain. the less, however, was the, at times, so annoying interplay between hannah and cooper. the schmaltz between them gets old, and cooper's 'im the man, i have to protect you, and you need to listen to me' attitude gets even older. it's just so much filler that gets hard enough to take that i found myself yelling at the characters aloud, and idk how many times i said 'oh jeez'.
there's also the fact that most of the big bad (who turn out to be not so much) are taken out by Hannah's instinctive and innate power in such a way that they just fall. no big battles, although that's what we're led to believe is imminent. they just poof out, turn to ash, or simply fade away. ? when it's made to seem as if these opponents are powerful, a serious threat, it's kind of a letdown.
other than that, i am looking forward to finding out the rest, along with the rather clueless hannah

I liked how this story was a little different but gave you the information for what was coming. Can’t wait to listen to the next one.

I love this series, it is such a great storyline that keeps you enthralled to the end! I couldn't put it down and now I can't wait till the next one!

I really enjoyed this book. it honestly had me guessing at spots and that ending I didn't see that coming. I can't wait for the next one to come out.

Good progress on the overall Arc

This book had a lot of big reveals and a good pace. It is like the Empire Strikes Back and like most middle movies leaves as many new questions as it answers. Definitely eager to see the new direction Hannah is headed in.
