2019 audio of 1999 book

This audiobook is generally very good - but I have it 3 stars because *nothing* has been updated or revised since its original print publication TWENTY YEARS AGO. Charlie Munger has been alive and VERY active as an investor and as a “living legend” throughout all those years, and none of that has been captured here. Which would be FINE, except it is NOT disclosed in the description of this audiobook, which published November 2019.

Really awesome story and had no clue!

I read the story of Warren Buffet but had no clue about his partner in business.

Interesting details about the silent partner

I am a longtime Berkshire holder. It was great to hear about the silent partner. I enjoyed the details about his experiences, not revealed in shareholder meetings.

A little too detailed

A pedantic view of Charlie Munger, his family, and anyone he’s ever come into contact with. It’s easy to miss the forest for all the trees.

thanks for putting together about Charlie!

Charlie Munger such a lovable person, accomplished so much, set himself as a model that inspires the generations, yet nothing really comes easy to him, this book shares a lot of Charlie's endeavors, a delighted read

Not that exciting

There are better Charlie Munger books out there. The best part was the appendix at the end
