I loved Damian!!!

What can I say, Damian is the epitome of cocky male hotness and Alex is sweet commitment. I love how Alex was able to cut thru Damian's hardness and let him find love. But wait.....what the heck cliffhanger!! Now that you've listened to this, get ready for Taming Damian!

Damian, I just love him, his cockiness, he's sweet side, he's just ahhhhhhh <3

Which scene was your favorite?

I can't just pick one....I love when Damian and Alexis first met and the girl he was with was blown off...when Damian and Alexis eat sushi in her apartment.....when they finally sleep together....and when Damian realizes he wants to be with Alexis and only Alexis!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

YESSSSS, even though I had to split it up!

Liked it just wish when they sell the boxed set they would update the originals.

What isn't there to love about Damian. The book was well written and has a good story line. I love how Emma is mentioned and brought into the story since Damian was first mentioned in The Day to Remember! Of course with the cliffhanger ending you know you have to listen to the next in the series!

The bar at closing time!!!

After a hard day of working and looking at a computer all day, it is nice to come home and close your eyes and listen to this book!

Yes. I could not stop listening to this book because Damian was so cocky and I had to find out if he changed!

I LOVED THIS BOOK! DAMIAN IS COCKY AND DOES NOT BELIEVE IN LOVE, GIRLFRIENDS AND DEFINITELY COMMITTMENTS! HE OWNS HIS OWN BAR AND EVEN LETS HIS FEMALE CUSTOMERS DO "DAMIAN SHOTS " TO FIND OUT WHAT THAT ENTAILS, YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE TO READ THE BOOK! ENTERS ALEXIS, WHO IS FIESTY AND DOES NOT FALL AT DAMIAN'S FEET AT THE DROP A HAT! THIS HAS DAMIAN WONDERING WHY. THEIR FIRST MEETING SPARKS SOMETHING IN BOTH OF THEM! HAS DAMIAN MET HIS MATCH? YOU NEED TO READ THE BOOK TO FIND OUT AND LET ME TELL YOU THE ENDING WILL HAVE YOU SAYING "OMG!" GOOD JOB JESSICA. WOOD!

Cracking the Shell...

Would you consider the audio edition of Damian (The Heartbreaker) to be better than the print version?

I did not read the print version I only listened to the Audio version. I am considering going back to read the book to make sure I didn't miss anything. I really enjoyed the story and watching little by little Damian start unravel a lifetime of set ways for Alexis. He is not there yet but it was fun watching himself get confused over the strange feelings.

What other book might you compare Damian (The Heartbreaker) to and why?

That is tough as I feel it was a bit on its own. I think it has a bit of many of the authors I have spent time reading in it. It had the anguish over a new and potential for failure relationship with a guy who does not believe in anything more than one night.

Which scene was your favorite?

I liked the first night they Slept (just sleeping) together. It was something new for him and it was great how the author pulled the scene together that you really could understand how he felt.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Sex is not everything... Even if it feels damn good

Any additional comments?

I really enjoyed the book overall, the flow of the story, and the way the author build up the characters. The narrator gave just enough to the book to really make it come alive.

Wow! I am in LOVE with this book/series!! Who can resist a bad boy who finally finds real feelings for someone... And you know there will be freak outs, trials and tribulations, and most definitely realizations. As in most books the "bad boy" meets an "innocent beauty" and even though they both feel the instant attraction and pull, they must work through their issues to find true love and happiness. I was immediately hooked by the narrators tone and ease of storytelling but keeping you hooked until the last word. I also loved the way we heard both Damian's and Alexis's POV! And yet there is still a prequel and sequel available NOW and not a year or more from now!! I know that some authors feel the "cliffhanger" will keep you wanting for more and the longer they wait the bigger the buildup will be, but I love listening to them all one after the other. I think that the main characters are both lovable and relatable a lot of that comes from the narrators ability to keep you interested and really feel what the author intended. I would definitely read/listen to more of Jessica Wood's books and I will listen to any audios that Lynn Barrington narrates in the future! I am looking forward to reading/listening to the next 2 books in the series and I hope that Lynn narrates them also!! It wouldn't be right, not to mention confusing, if she didn't!

I absolutely loved Damian. He is the cocky bad boy that gets whatever he wants. Who doesn't want a piece of him?

I did want to listen in one sitting however I knew I couldn't do that! I did enjoy listening to this story as I drove to work each morning!

Damian will set your body ablaze page by hot page

Damian is so hot and sexy with his cocky attitude you can't help but want to know more about this egotistical man. He incinerates you with his wild bartender antics yet makes you feel like you want nothing to do with him and his man whore ways. He meets his match though with Alexis. She is the complete opposite of Damian with her subtle attitude and sweet ways but yet she manages to get the playboy's attention. Unfortunately for Damian Alexis is so much more than what the man the legend the heart breaker had ever intended. Cool your knickers ladies Damian Castillo is going to taker you on a smoking HOT ride!
