Good not great
That is tough for me to say since I appreciate the morals that Mary Higgins Clark uses in her books. No vulgar language, lewd sex, etc. This was "just" good for me not great. The story line at times was weak or predictable.
Having said that I am still glad that I purchased and listened to this one.

Nostalgic
My mother used to read Mary Higgins Clark in the early 2000s. I wanted to feel closer to her so I went for this book specifically as I remember her reading this novel. As I listened, I was shocked about how intriguing it was and it kept my attention from the beginning. It didn’t move slow at all. Loved the narrator.
