I really enjoyed this story I thought it was sweet.

This was a heat-filled quick listen.

The characters were wonderful...I mean... who doesn't love a second chance, childhood friends to lovers romance!?!?

The storyline was full of "heat" situations, and the storyline was short and sweet.

The narrator, Lu Banks, was good, but at times I was confused as to who she was speaking for. Her voice stayed the same throughout for both characters (this is a 2 person POV).

Overall, I give this a 3.5 across the board, but rounding up to 4.

This is a very cute story.

Childhood friends meeting again and finally getting the guts to tell each other how they feel.
They help each other past some of their insecurities. It is just a very sweet story (with some spice) with low drama. Good if you are in the mood for a quick listen.

Bailey and Jenson have been childhood friends.
he returned home hoping to see the girl of his dreams. I loved how Karla Doyle developed their reunion. Both had a crush on each other during their school years. Neither one acted on their crush because they didn't want to ruin their friendship.
He was her teddy bear and she a!ways was his dream girl.
I enjoyed listening to this story narrated by Lu Banks.
I was gifted this audio and offered my honest review.

Cute

I love when the main characters are awkwardly cute and these 2 definitely fit the bill. I fell in love with them both right away. Short with a happily ever after set in a small town. Hit me in the feels and left me with a smile on my face.

Light, Cute, Sweet

This is such a sugary sweet story, with a few hints of spicy sprinkled in!

This is a shorter book, about three hours long. That doesn’t really deter the story from progressing nicely though.

This is a bit second and a bit childhood sweethearts that didn’t know the other felt the same way ❤️

This was narrated entirely by Lu Banks and while she did a fantastic job it would have been better with two narrators to keep the characters straight easier.

Terrific Story & Narration🎧 Charming & Heartfelt!

This is a fabulous, small town, friends to lovers, romance and the despite the book being on the shorter it packs a lot of story, a charming and heartfelt story. This is my first book written by this author, I enjoyed her writing style and the characters and storylines she created, they are realistic, easy to relate to and connect with. The story drew me in right from the start, grabbing my attention and captivating it the entire time, it tugged on my heartstrings as well. Jensen returned to his hometown and opened his own bar, which is doing well. A guy on the husky side, he was used to being overlooked and watched his friends get all the girls, he was even their wingman getting them their girls. But when it comes to Bailey, he will not be a wingman for anyone, including his good friend. He has always had a thing for her, but never found the right moment or the courage to tell her so. I loved watching these two get to know each other better and finally open up to how they felt and shared their own insecurities, I thought they were perfect together and for each other. This charming and beautifully plotted story has the perfect balance of drama, heartfelt emotions and steamy romance. Karla Doyle, thank you for this enjoyable and wonderfully entertaining story.

Banks set the perfect tone for the story, captured the character’s emotions and projected them into her performance. She is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to.
