Deep Jhana means imminent life-changing events capable of shattering the Ego.

What if meditation promised infinite bliss but erased everything you love? Deep Jhana meditation lures you in with the first Jhana’s overwhelming joy, the fourth Jhana’s fearless stillness, and consciousness exploding beyond all boundaries in deeper Jhanas—granting perfect present-moment peace for life. But at what cost? Your family, home, memories, and very sense of self, annihilated in pure ego destruction. Do you dare to uncover the truth of this perilous path?

What if you lost everything important to you? What if your mother and father, your spouse, your kids, suddenly meant nothing like they did before? Your car, your house, your ambitions, your hobbies, your possessions of all kinds, your photographs, your memories... What if none of it meant something to you anymore?

Total Ego Annihilation. Pure destruction of self.
Is this what you want?

Reaching Deep Jhana is life changing and traumatic.

This is the story of how one man in a culture of chaos, sat on his bedroom floor and focused on the tiny spot in the nose where the breath could be felt as a tingling sensation. This simple meditation practice transformed his mind and life in the most positive ways after experiencing all of the Jhana states and even some of the supernatural Abhinna states of mind.

The Deep Jhanas are typically described in pleasant terms. Meditators dedicated enough to reach these elusive states of consciousness are bathed in love, peace, bliss, and joy like they've never known before as they enter the first of the eight Deep Jhanas.

The first Jhana or two are nice experiences. Some get stuck there because they just want to repeat the bliss and joy felt there. Jhana-Junkies is a term from long ago. Some use Jhana like a drug to keep them high on a daily basis.

To each, their own, but some people go through the Jhanas and meet wtih the unexpected. Losing the ego is real. Its effects can be catastrophic to anyone with responsibilities like children, a job, family, and friends.

Many people seem to want the Jhanas in this age. However, few are really taking the time to research what exactly happens to the mind, to the ego, of a person who is well into the fourth and higher Jhanas.

Reaching the deep Jhanas is like playing with fire. You're sure you want to go further, but as you do, some big decisions must take place.

If you're considering taking up a practice you hope will lead you to Jhana, give this short book a read. It may give you the right perspective to decide how to approach this life-changing path with wisdom.

Often recently I would sit to meditate and wonder how much rule following was really needed. How much focus. How much silencing the mind. Am I getting it right? Am I close? Does what I am experiencing line up with what they mean in the books? And now I'm looking forward to my next sit. Gaps have been filled in the cracks of my understanding. Naturally I like the book and I want more, but I also feel satisfied with what I have.
