I absolutely loved this book.

I absolutely loved this book. If you follow it the way it says, you will lose weight fast in the first two weeks . I loss 8 pounds in two weeks. The next two weeks I loss 5 pounds. And I feel great on this Dash Diet. I have a way to go but this book has taught me how to eat foods that will help with the weight lost. I don't even feel hungry, awesome.

I highly recommend this cookbook to anyone who has weight issues, high cholesterol level or simply wants to change the weekly menu in favor of the healthy options. In one month of following this diet closely, I've lost nearly twenty pounds – my blood pressure is back to normal, and I'm not going to close the book (cookbook to be exact) on this. If you want to lose weight and wish to stay healthy at the same time, DASH is the diet to try. Probably one of the best DASH Diet cookbooks on the market. Love most of the recipes in it.

I initially purchased this book in kindle format.

I initially purchased this book in kindle format. It is nice to have a portable book when shopping at the store and checking on what ingredients I need for a recipe but it is not nearly as awesome as the print book. Unless you hate print GET THE PHYSICAL BOOK. (Or go ahead and get both like I did.) It is beautiful and well organized. The first recipe I made was the allspice muffins. I LOVE them and so does my family.

Love, love the Dash Diet. I followed it for 10 day

Love, love the Dash Diet. I followed it for 10 days using only the recipes in the original book, and lost weight without feeling hungry or deprived. Therefore decided to order the actual cookbook. I love the recipes and how they are separated by meal (breakfast, lunch, dinner, etc). Wonderful diet plan, simple to use, recipes are great, not difficult to prepare and are not time consuming. Good book!

I'm looking forward to cooking every single recipe from this cookbook, as those I've tried already have been delish and easy. I've already altered my diet and will continue to do so according to the plan. You can't have too much experimentation with healthy foods, and this cookbook has offered me a whole bunch of ideas to have fun with.Discovered a new world of recipes!

Wow! Fantastic!

Wow! Fantastic! I bought 3 of them. For my daughter, granddaughter and me. I am experienced pressure cooker user and thought the book had great easy to use recipes in book. My daughter and granddaughter are new to using a instant pot. The recipes give very good details on how to use the cooker. How to set it up to use, how much liquid to use, when to us the instant pressure relese and when to not. Really good book a on explaing and easy not complicated recipes to use. Just a really good book. DASH & Lectin Free Diet is amazing! I am loving this one! Thanks author

Well done! Plain-easy-detailed, explanations. The pictures were lovely, but when it comes down to it, the food has to be good. Loved it! I've lost 30 lbs on Dash, I will not be going back now. I have never had a hungry day, all it took was the courage to try and to cook and shop on a regular basis. BonAppetit! A lovely to have!

This book is splendid. I inclined such huge numbers of successful things from this book. I cherish this book, the start is a lot to peruse and I haven't completed it everything except I'm going to attempt it is a bit of exhausting. Be that as it may, at that point it had exercise moves when to do them. Nourishment plan for 3 weeks and the plans on the best way to cook them. The nourishment takes a bit of getting utilized as well yet it was great. Precisely as I was searching for a book to disclose to me how to get more fit sustenance and exercise. I was really astounded by perceiving what number of imperative recommendations accumulated in such a short book. Creator completed a phenomenal activity. Gives you a good general overview of the diet. I especially like how it talks about the different phases in the dash diet and how to follow each phase for the best results. This book covers a lot of bases and talks about exercise as well as meal plans and recipes. It’s a good resource for someone that’s serious about the DASH diet. Cool

Inexpressible sensations from reading.After realizing we had all been eating too many processed foods and takeaway foods during the last few weeks I decided to change things substantially and purchased a couple of cookbooks on dash dieting. I've never done any diets before and decided it's about time to try some. This cookbook has been tremendously helpful considering the price of it. The variety of ideas is good. Even if you're a complete novice to this kind of diet, you will find easy-to-follow instructions that probably may need a little bit extra editing.Many thanks to the author of this book, I liked everything!

I love this book! Easy to follow. She focuses on balance in eating and using fresh quality ingredients. I received an advance copy of this book and I've already made several of the recipes. They are easy recipes to follow and they taste great. The book is full of amazing recipes anybody can make! Using easy ingredients, you can also fill your cooking jar with family favorites on a regular basis. Great book for those trying to follow the DASH diet! This book not only help you lose weight but also to manage the mental challenges that come with stressing over losing weight and give a healthy lifestyle. When one is looking for the perfect gift for someo

When one is looking for the perfect gift for someone who has practically everything, the inclination is to look for some new electronic innovation or fad clothing. This is a cheap and somewhat transparent symbol of creative surrender, yet I found myself doing essentially the same thing recently when I needed to give a gift to my mother-in-law. The idea of buying her another cook book crossed my mind, but she has several already of various cuisines. I know that she has a crock pot; I bought the thing for her. So, a cook book strictly for using the crock pot seemed to me to be thoughtful as well as practical. Of this I was correct, but the DASH & Lectin Free Diet: The "DASH & Lectin Free Diet" was quite a bit more than I expected.

The good thing about this book is that you don't have to know anything about the DASH diet beforehand- it introduces it quite nicely. I do have a bit of experience with the DASH & Lectin Free Diet; my husband has hypertension and is prediabetic and we've tried to adjust his diet so he is not dependent on medications. I own a slow cooker- and make meals in it regularly- so this is great. So far I have only tried the Porcupine meatballs from this book, but they were a hit! I love that a DASH & Lectin Free Diet cookbook included a desserts and treats section. And sadly, it’s probably my favorite section as it’s somewhat easier for me to cook healthy meals but then don’t know how to satisfy my sweet tooth in a healthier way. Hehe. I am looking forward to trying a few of those.

It has a good combination of basic meals and then some more sophisticated kinds. It has things I know I’d love and things I’m not so sure about but that I’m willing to try because they’re right in front of me and because, hello, it’s in the crock pot which makes everything better (cook time, ease of getting it on the table, not standing in front of the stove, having it all mainly in one pot).

We enjoyed trying the recipes from this DASH & Lectin Free Diet Cookbook. All three of the recipes I tried were a bit bland. They could have benefited by the addition of the no-salt 21 herb and spice blend that I love to use on almost everything. I will continue to use this cookbook because I appreciate the DASH homestyle, simple and healthy recipes and the ease of slow cooking. Though all of the recipes in this book fit the DASH & Lectin Free Diet, they are great for anyone looking to eat healthier, more whole foods. Recipes range from simple rice, quinoa, and more to all sorts of soups, stews, and desserts. The fact that they are relatively fast and easy to make is a bonus -- as a busy mom, I'm always looking for ways to get a healthy meal on the table more quickly! The front of the book includes details about the DASH diet, slow-cooking tips, and other helpful information. The cover is beautiful. I just wish the inside of the book included photos of at least some of the recipes, which I always find helpful when cooking. Can't wait to try out some of the recipes! OK, confession time:

OK, confession time: I had no idea what DASH & Lectin Free Diet was when I purchased this book. It was only after I started looking through it that I discovered that it means Dietary Approach to Stop Hypertension. I don't have hypertension so I don't care about that, I was just interested in it because it was a slow cooker cookbook. I absolutely love my slow cooker and like trying new recipes in it. This cookbook is fantastic! It has some great broth recipes to start things out, which is always helpful as I'd rather use homemade broth in a recipe than store bought. It also has a recipe for pumpkin soup which I can't wait to try (especially since I just roasted and pureed 20 cups of pumpkin today!) We tend to eat low(ish) carb in my household so some of the recipes we aren't interested in, but there are several that we can modify to fit our low-carb needs, like the clam chowder for instance. We would use heavy whipping cream instead of milk and radishes instead of potatoes. Chinese hot pot? Yes, please! I can hardly wait to try some of these recipes out. Always love finding new meals to add to our regular rotation.

This book on Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertensi

This book on Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension has many good recipes. It's great for heart healthy eating or just to make something easy thay tastes good. So far I have tried 2 recipes and both of them were home runs. The first 1 I tried was the Lime & Jalapeño Chicken Thighs you just need a couple of ingredients and most of them I'm pretty sure you already have in your kitchen. The 2nd recipe we tried was the Greek Spiced Leg Of Lamb this 1 has a little more ingredients but it is all worth it because it so good. Just one thing I would change in the book would be for them to add more pictures just to get an idea what the final product suppose to look like. This cookbook is wonderful -- whether you are really following the "DASH & Lectin Free Diet" or are just looking for some new, great slow cooker recipes. The recipes are easy to follow, and I did appreciate the information in the beginning of the book regarding what the DASH diet was, etc. We can all benefit from healthier eating, and I will be making quite a few of these recipes. The only issue I had -- which might be a plus for some readers -- is there was a large section on Vegetarian/Vegan dishes.
