Poor English, Misogynistic Anecdotes

Wonder what a woman with a 'nice body' has to do with cybersecurity? Me, too. Strange, misogynistic stories totally unrelated to cybersecurity. Poorly written, poor English, poorly proofread. I'm very confused why there are so many positive reviews.

Misogynistic and poorly written

Five minutes into the book and the author starts talking about a woman with a “nice body and nice face” not liking him. Why is that even referenced for a book that’s supposed to help with cyber security? Extremely misogynistic. No idea why this book has stellar reviews. Broken English and poor grammar as well. Don’t waste your time.

Learned A Little About Cyber, A Lot About This Guy

I don't like writing negative reviews, but I felt this one was necessary. This book was poorly edited and the immediate misogyny and subsequent condescension was very off-putting. I thought if I kept listening I'd at least learn something, but I was wrong. A good portion of this book is devoted to his opinions, personal anecdotes, and weird tangents. In one chapter, he literally devotes almost 5 full minutes to his thoughts on how people waste their time reading the news and discussing how many people die in a day. I feel like I learned more about the author as a person than I did about cyber security.

Poor and shallow book

Listened to the first 11 chapters , nothing to do with security. Scattered, unorganized and shallow general info

Not a very good buy

Not enough cybersecurity information. Too much banter. Needs to focus less on advising how to study, and focus more on actual cyber topics.
Don't bother with this.

basic to Intermediate average of security

Good content and reader was solid. As should be expected for a resource / study guide it is a bit tough to digest in audio format without visuals etc

Blurb blurb, too wordy & egocentric

Limited really useful information that one could find on a google search & cover off in one page.
Not even at t basic level. A ‘filler’ piece in a dental surgery free magazine. Just my opinion. Needs serious editing. Good for young entertainers level high school students considering I.T. Career options with a hour to spare. Sorry did not meet expectations.
