Amazing collection!

For the last couple of weeks, I’ve been savoring Sara Tantlinger's Cyanide Constellations: And Other Stories. As a long-time reader of Sara, I had high expectations for her debut fiction collection. They were exceeded. This collection has everything a horror reader could want, with stories that span space and time, exploring the dark and strange aspects of humanity, our world, and beyond. I had to force myself not to read it in one sitting so that I could admire her haunting, lyrical prose. As Sara knows, I’m obsessed with “A Haunting of Lawn Ornaments” and those bloodthirsty garden gnomes, but I also loved diving into “The Revenge of Rappacini’s Daughter” and revisiting some of my favorite stories of hers - “With Radium on Her Lips” and “After the Twilight Fades.”
