Most people only ever rely on their conventional intelligence (IQ) to get them through life, or worse, believe it to be the best indicator for success. For years this was thought to be the case, that IQ was the most accurate predictor of a person's potential, whether it's getting a leg up in your career or simply building better relationships in business/family life. However that is no longer the case. It's now commonly known that Emotional Intelligence (EQ) has the biggest impact here.

Story
Most of us know we own too much stuff. We feel the weight and burden of our clutter, and we tire of cleaning and managing and organizing. While excess consumption leads to bigger houses, faster cars, fancier technology, and cluttered homes, it never brings happiness. Rather, it results in a desire for more. It redirects our greatest passions to things that can never fulfill, and it distracts us from the very lives we wish we were living. But it doesn't have to be this way.

Helpful book for cleaning and organizing your home in a simple way
- By Angie D. on 01-11-22

Publisher's Summary
Do you have a stronger relationship with the things in your storage closet than the people in your life?
Is your computer desktop so cluttered that someone could run a marathon in the amount of time it takes you to find one file?
Is your calendar so full that all your days blend together?
We never stop to question what's going on with us internally, so we keep mindlessly piling it all on: clothes with tags still on them, electronics we get just to impress people, and the precious slots in our agendas that we fill with things we don't actually want to do.
Be honest. It's not organized chaos. Those are not collectibles. You're not "just really busy." You don't have to go. And no, you're never going to use that - whatever that is that's still in the original packaging that you've been holding on to since Y2K.
To regain sanity, freedom, happiness, productivity and control, you need to trim the fat off the steak in every area of your life, and declutter your mind by decluttering your time, space, and digital life.
This book will show you how to:
- Redefine minimalism as filling your life with things you actually want
- Get your physical and digital life in order and set up systems to effortlessly keep it that way
- Use Parkinson's Law to keep your space decluttered for good without trying
- Focus on the "negative" to vastly improve your space and overall life
- Overcome the six reasons people mindlessly waste money on things they don't need
- Realize the underrated advantages of renting vs. owning
- Handle guilt around letting go of sentimental items and gifts
This is not a guide on how to rearrange the paperclips in your junk drawer. It's about changing your relationship to things, examining your principles and developing new ones, and learning to live your life for you - not for someone else, and not for your things.
This is not your grandmother's self help. There's a little language, some laughs, and a lot of tough love.

Maybe, it seems like you can only be happy when things go your way, and even then, that’s only temporary. Or, maybe, you feel like no matter what you do, it’s impossible for you to feel happy because nothing ever works out for you.

First and foremost, Arylo assures women that if all their leaning, logging off, and downward-dogging aren't doing the trick, "It's not your fault"! She replaces outdated bits of "conventional wisdom" with elevated versions and offers intensely practical and realistic solutions, including her "Five Points of Liberation". Her approach takes women out of the shoulds that surround them and into their inner wisdom in ways that allow them to authentically live, love, and lead while making self-supportive choices.

Story
Hardcore Self Help: F**k Depression is the follow-up to the best-selling F**K Anxiety. In this book I take the information, tips, and insights that I have gained as a psychologist and translate them into language that doesn't suck. This is the self-help book for people who don't usually like self-help books. In Hardcore Self Help: F**K Depression, I talk to you like a friend. That means I speak directly to you, without psychobabble. Instead I tell you why your brain is such a troll.
