Publisher's summary

The one thing my parents can’t shelter me from is my heart.

I nearly died the summer of my eighth grade year, and ever since then, my parents have done everything they could to keep me healthy. Now I’m a senior, and instead of feeling safe, I’m suffocating.

When my parents take my twin sisters out of town for an audition, I have my chance to show them that I’m responsible. That I can go to college on my own and start a life outside of their organic food store and Emerson Academy.

All I have to do is turn in all my assignments and have a few quiet nights at home. No problem.

That is, until my video project partner decides to be a total flake. Ray may be hot and fill out a pair of Wrangler jeans like nobody’s business, but he is not ruining my chance at freedom.

I go to his family’s ranch to get his help, but instead discover something else. Could everything my parents taught me be wrong?

Unless I act fast, my quiet weekend will ruin my chance at freedom and wreck my heart faster than the flash of my camera.

Hang on for a wild ride in the third book of The Curvy Girl Club! Curvy Girls Can’t Date Cowboys promises plenty of laughter, along with some tears, and the hottest cowboy at Emerson Academy.

I wish I could get more scenes of Ray and Ginger together -their chemistry was electric.

It was good not great

I liked it but it pissed me off the way Ray did her I think she should have held off a little longer or at least told him off for how he was doing her. And her parents got on my nerve cause I had parents like that and I ended up running away from home till they saw it my way. But it was good I enjoyed it.

4-H and FFA Grown

A special place for my farm heart. Being from a small town in Socal, this hit home for me and the way the outside world sees the farming community. Hard work and sacrifice don't even come close to the long days that are spent making sure the world gets what it needs.

Great story! Horrible performance.

Such a great story! Love it when a story makes me giggle or respond out loud. Narrator is still disappointing.

Curvy Girls Can't Date Cowboys

Over protective momma and poppa bear. I will say they almost ruined the book for me. It was just sooooo overbearing. And I hate that they didn’t see what a wonderful thoughtful women they raised. If they had just not been soo smothering and gave her, the responsibility of her health from a younger age I bet they wouldn’t have fought over it so much and mom wouldn’t have been such a helicopter parent.

That being said I think Ginger had a great ali in her sister Kory.
Ray is super cute and I love how he takes care of his family you can see the toll his father’s death plays in his life. The guilt, I hope he gets help for it because his momma is so wonderful she sees what Ray doesn’t it wasn’t anyone’s fault it just was.

Loved the connection between Ray and Ginger he is just too dang sweet I can’t stand it. I wanted more, more, more, I think these 2 can make it work if they just try.
Sign cowboys, am I right. ;)

Enjoyed the narration a lot. The bit at the end with the author was kinda awesome too I liked getting to how this book came to be.

Learning new perspectives and being true to oneself

This story showed a sheltered girl that wanted to spread her wings. A boy who was thrown all the responsibilities in his family and had to learn to compromise his life. When these two individuals are drawn together; you see the hardship of both, the struggle to understand one another, but the love that overcomes it all as well. I loved the story until the last few chapters when it seemed like Ginger became hostile even though she understood why Ray acted the way he did. Other than that, the book ended how it should have and this book was a little more intimate than the previous two books.

Loved it!

Getting to know Ginger’s story was wonderful. I love that her and Ray started as enemies and ended up together. I also loved the ending chapter with the families coming together. 💗

great series

one of the BEST series I have read. I normally start reading books and after a few chapter I get bored. I have read/listened to the first 3 books in less then 3 days. INCREDIBLE stories of finding your self worth and inner beauty.
